Two loaded teams that had a thrilling matchup the last time they played are slated to face each other Friday night, as the Greenies will travel up to take on the Blues. Christ School took the lead last time on an and-one by [player_tooltip player_id='951365' first='Keenan' last='Wilkins'], a dynamic slasher who is a threat to attack the cup every time he catches the ball. He will be assisted in the backcourt by Wake Forest commit [player_tooltip player_id='1076360' first='Bryson' last='Cokley'], a combo guard who can really shoot the deep ball. When he gets hot, he's almost impossible to stop. [player_tooltip player_id='865287' first='Jamari' last='Briggs'] is a stronger guard who is a great downhill driver, but also shoots the three ball at a high clip. Inside, Emmanuel Richards is a tweener guy who's got great power and strength, and is a high flyer in transition. [player_tooltip player_id='1049230' first='Anthony' last='Robinson'] is a long, explosive big who will match up with Asheville's interior guys and also be a explosive guy on the glass and in the paint. For the Blues, it all runs through Derin Seran, the long, skilled guard that makes the game look easy with his playmaking and scoring. Michael Mora provides the shooting touch from deep that everyone needs, and Kaden Holbrook is a big time IQ guy and passer. [player_tooltip player_id='1426738' first='Ryan' last='Soulis'] will be the X Factor for them, as his ability to stretch the floor and play all over the place as a 6'10 5 man will be key to countering the multi headed Christ School attack. It will be a close contest, as both teams fight down to the wire with no clear winner.

Cape Fear Academy (14-5) @ Harrells Christian (18-1)

An eastern NC clash is slated for Thursday as Cape Fear Academy travels up to take on Harrells Christian after a tight game last week between the two. The Crusaders are having a resurgent season so far, and are led by brothers [player_tooltip player_id='1280878' first='Antonio' last='McKoy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1220126' first='DaShaun' last='McKoy']. Antonio is a player to watch for in the 2026 class, as his offensive game continues to develop and he's got great quickness and shiftiness to add to his 6'5 frame. Dashaun is more of a gritty, high motor player that does the dirty work but makes a huge impact every night. Zicareian Mcneil is a smaller guard who plays point guard for this squad, and he's great on both ends, making plays as a passer offensively and having a nose for the ball defensively. As for CFA, they have a lot of size in forwards [player_tooltip player_id='1176150' first='Vytas' last='Nausedas'], Simeon Jeffers, and [player_tooltip player_id='1641139' first='Saransh' last='Padhy']. They're great rim protectors and Nausedas has a scoring ability that is one of the better ones in the state. It should be another great game in Harrells.

Trinity Academy (14-4) @ Greenfield (21-7)

Tonight's top game is the Tigers of Trinity Academy heading down to take on Greenfield. Greenfield is led by [player_tooltip player_id='1076333' first='Hampton' last='Evans'], [player_tooltip player_id='1280938' first='Kobe' last='Edwards'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1739830' first='Nik' last='Edwards'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1277989' first='Matt' last='Kirby'], all guys we broke down last week in the Top Games of the Week. Trinity Academy will have a tall task on their hands, and will need 6'9 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1343866' first='Clash' last='Peters'] to have a big night. He's got good touch around the basket, and uses his strength well to rebound and duck defenders in close to the rim. He will get the ball from guards [player_tooltip player_id='1014991' first='Kevon' last='Vanderhorst'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1363176' first='Trevor' last='Barrett'], who can both score in flurries if they get hot. Greenfield will be the favorite, but keep an eye on Trinity to see whether they can take this down to the wire or even win the game.
