One of the best parts about being in the gym is discovering new prospects. Here are several notable underclassmen who will be in our sights moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782683' first='Anthony' last='Brown'] | guard | Paul VI (VA) '26

Brown will have the luxury of playing with [player_tooltip player_id='1259542' first='Ben' last='Hammond'], whom he can learn a thing or two from. But in the limited sample size we've seen from him, all signs point to a bright future for the promising floor general. Brown can facilitate an offense efficiently but is not afraid to add his own scoring punch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1767546' first='Johnny' last='Callow'] | guard | Herndon (VA) '25

Callow stood out for the Hornets at Marshall during the Coaches vs. Cancer Statesmen Classic. He shot the ball well from the perimeter and was among the leading scorers we saw at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='1767529' first='Brandon' last='Edozie'] | center | Forest Park (VA) '25

Edozie is a forceful paint presence that gives the Bruins an inside edge in pretty much every contest. Double-doubles have become a norm for him, but so have thoughtful passes from the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='1767532' first='Frank' last='MacNelly Jr.'] | wing | Collegiate (VA) '25

MacNelly is a good shooter with size on the wing for the Cougars. He should grow into a reliable outlet alongside playmaking guard Donnie Richardson.

[player_tooltip player_id='1768964' first='Makhye' last='McKnight'] | guard | Douglass-PG (MD) '25

McKnight is often the smallest player on the court, but also perhaps the most exciting. He is quick like a cat and keeps the ball on a string. McKnight plays with flair and confidence. It's easy to see why he has quickly earned the trust of Coach Massenburg.

[player_tooltip player_id='1767530' first='Eann' last='Pennix'] | forward | Colgan (VA) '25

Pennix should not be overlooked on this Sharks roster. He is a workhorse who plays with relentless energy and brings physicality to the frontcourt. If Penix is playing well, Colgan can be a tough team to beat.

Cort Siska | wing | SSSAS (VA) '25

Siska has encouraging long-term potential for the Saints. He is a high-flier who provides floor spacing on the wing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782698' first='Kong' last='Tangwa'] | forward | Potomac (VA) '26

Tangwa impacts the game most from 15 feet and in. He is very active on the glass and is an instinctive scorer in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1870443' first='Sol' last='Vita'] | guard | South Lakes (VA) '25

Vita is a terrific playmaker at the lead guard spot for the Seahawks. He is already a difference-maker on both ends of the floor.
