<p>Tonight there will be a big JeffCo 6A match-up between Valor Christian and Arvada West. While Valor Christian has faced a harder schedule throughout the year Arvada West has an impressive win under its belt beating Fort Collins. Valor Christian also has an impressive win taking down highly ranked Fossil Ridge. Arvada West is led by their senior duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1420177' first='Jasper' last='Padia'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1285117' first='Carson' last='Nichols'], who both are averaging over 15 points per game. Both of these players possess good length making them potential match-up problems for Valor Christian. Valor Christian is a guard-heavy team led by sophomore standout PG [player_tooltip player_id='1369810' first='Cole' last='Scherer']. Accompanying him on the wings are [player_tooltip player_id='1577998' first='Hunter' last='Guiles'], [player_tooltip player_id='921110' first='Archer' last='VanSickle'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1369793' first='Eli' last='Kim'], who have all been viable shooters for the team. This will be a good challenge for Arvada West and another chance for them to prove to be the real deal.</p>

<p><strong>Tuesday: Regis Jesuit @ Mountain Vista</strong></p>

<p>Mountain Vista is a top 5 team in 6A basketball and Regis Jesuit is a team playing with something to prove. Recently Regis Jesuit lost to Rock Canyon on a buzzer-beater finish, proving that they can hang with top teams in Colorado. Regis Jesuit is led by the fire and ice guard combo of [player_tooltip player_id='1284427' first='TaRea' last='Fulcher'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1754354' first='Joe' last='Dorais']. Tarea is a bulky guard with a knack for getting downhill to the basket. Joe is a three-point specialist who can light it up from deep. They are also accompanied by junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1577975' first='Damarius' last='Taylor'] who is another downhill point guard who is a helpful scorer and distributor. Mountain Vista has one of the best guard, big men combos in the state made up of [player_tooltip player_id='1151703' first='Radek' last='Homer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1284559' first='Caden' last='Stevens']. Both of these players lead by example by playing hard on both ends of the floor. They are also accompanied by highly-ranked sharpshooting sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1369819' first='Cal' last='Baskind']. This will be another opportunity for Regis Jesuit to face a top team in the state.</p>

<p><strong>Wednesday: Pine Creek @ Vista Ridge</strong></p>

<p>Vista Ridge has proven to be the top team from Colorado Springs in 6A basketball recently taking down Fountain-Fort Carson. This will be a good challenge for Pine Creek as they have been a very competitive team in the Springs. Vista Ridge is led by the lengthy senior duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1578230' first='Tyson' last='Monck'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1577959' first='Caleb' last='Kelley'], both of whom are averaging over 15 points and 5 rebounds per contest. Pine Creek is led by senior Ty Heater who is averaging 15 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. They also have an intriguing sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1577950' first='Blake' last='Marshall'], who is a solid athlete from the wing and will be one to keep an eye on.</p>

<p><strong>Thursday: DSST: Green Valley Ranch @ Kent Denver</strong></p>

<p>This 4A match-up sees two of the top teams from the Denver area going head to head. Kent Denver is led by the senior guard duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1420189' first='Jay' last='Royal'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1285224' first='Ethan' last='Levin'], both of these guards play well within Kent Denver's run-and-gun system. They also have a standout freshman 6'4 wing [player_tooltip player_id='1509234' first='Caleb' last='Fay'], who is a good downhill attacker using his large frame and solid athleticism to score at the rim. DSST: Green Valley Ranch is led by wing Asher sickle who is averaging 15.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. Playing the guard spot is junior [player_tooltip player_id='1420419' first='Jovonnie' last='Babineaux'] who is a solid scorer and a guard who has shown flashes of being a creator for others. This will be a high-scoring match-up between two top 4A teams.</p>

<p><strong>Friday: ThunderRidge @ Rock Canyon</strong></p>

<p>ThunderRidge and Rock Canyon are crosstown rivals that always bring big crowds and an intense game environment. Rock Canyon is ranked the number one team in the state by many due to its team defense. [player_tooltip player_id='1577994' first='Gavin' last='Hershberger'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1284411' first='Aidan' last='Peck'] have been the senior leaders on this team setting the tone on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='1318387' first='Mac' last='Terry'] has been a key piece to this team as he is a big versatile guard who can fill multiple roles on the floor. ThunerRidge is led by the number one prospect playing local high school basketball 6'6 CG [player_tooltip player_id='1577941' first='Andrew' last='Crawford']. Andrew has the ability to take over any game on both ends of the floor. He is accompanied by classmate [player_tooltip player_id='1369780' first='Charlie' last='Spann'] who has been the second punch for ThunderRidge. Charlie is a big 6'5 wing with a knockdown jumper and the ability to create buckets for himself. This will be a big matchup for ThunderRidge as they have dropped the rankings recently and are looking for a big win to boost their stock.</p>

<p><strong>Saturday: Centauri @ Pagosa Springs</strong></p>

<p>This a big match-up between a top 3A school (Centauri) and 4A school (Pagosa Springs). Centauri last year was known for their in-your-face defense and once again has been a force on the defensive end. Pagosa Springs is led by junior wing Blake Laner who has done a good job scoring around the basket and being a hustle rebounder for his size. Centauri is led by stat sheet stuffer Haz Holman who is averaging 11.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 4.0 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game. The last time these two teams matched up Centauri won by 7 points, should be a good rematch.</p>
