Smith poured in 23 of his 27 points in the first half to go with his 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Grant shot North Oconee out of their vaunted matchup zone, nailing deep threes with his smooth quick release. Smith has good size on the perimeter and is solid playmaker when forced to put the ball on the floor when ran off the three-point line. His shot making will undoubtedly draw college attention. Smith has a chance to make waves this year in the state playoffs.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1765472"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"The elder Smith got into foul trouble in the second half but was steady throughout. He was able to make plays getting into the lane, finishing with both hands. Smith finished through contact and drew fouls going 7-8 from the foul line. Mason sees the floor well and dropped off assists to [player_tooltip player_id='1765474' first='Chris' last='Rhodes'] out of the pick-and-roll. He finished with 16 points and 3 assists.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1386823"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Carruth was a big factor as to why the Red Raiders were able to hang on for a signature road win. In the second half the little guard started hurting the Titans with dribble penetration once they had to come out of the zone. Jay squirted into the lane, finishing with floaters and racking up fouls as he went 7-8 from the free throw line. What really impressed me was Carruth's passing. He's dangerous in transition with how well he pitches the ball ahead and when he's in the half court, he makes pocket passes off the dribble to free up teammates. Carruth tallied 13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1765474"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"I liked Rhodes' post game. He's a lean forward but has broad shoulders and can play with functional power. He's patient inside, using ball fakes when scoring around the rim. Chris is comfortable stepping outside to shoot the mid-range jumper and is effective diving out of screens, able to catch and finish on the move. Chris is a sturdy rebounder and a solid rim protector that can surprise opponents with how well he blocks shots. Rhodes put up 9 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Small schools will want to check in.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1300680"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Byrd gets better and better each time I see him. He's really emerged as a go-to player for North Oconee. He does a lot of things well, using his high IQ to impact games on both ends of the floor. Carter has good footwork when attacking the hoop. He scored on five drives, freeing himself with spin moves and finishing with floaters and kisses off the glass. His defensive prowess stood out, being a pest as he would swipe steals and deflect shots. Carter totaled 19 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1300677"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"The bouncy senior provided a major spark off the bench in the first half, scoring all eight of his points. David scored on an And-1 drive, a reverse layup and a thunderous baseline slam that ignited the home crowd. Aside from his offense, Dorbin provided high pressure on defense, picking up at half court as he tried to force Madison County away from the basket.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1223224"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Once North Oconee had to come out of their zone, Chandler was tasked with slowing down [player_tooltip player_id='1386822' first='Grant' last='Smith']. Though a tall task, Chandler did a great job of blanketing the shooter, helping hold Smith to four points – one field goal – in the second half. Offensively, Jake never got in a real groove, but still managed 13 points, netting five in the fourth quarter. Chandler's points came on a step-in three-pointer, an And-1 floater, a pull-up going to his left and a drive while also going 4-6 from the foul line. Chandler is one of the most dangerous shooters in the state. If he's able to get clean looks and see the ball go in the basket, he's liable to score in bunches from deep.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["1765473"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"One of the more impactful freshmen across the state, [player_tooltip player_id='1765473' first='Khamari' last='Brooks'] posted 10 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal on Tuesday. Brooks is a well-built player that serves as a 3/4 for the Titans. He's strong enough to power through contact and has the leaping ability to rebound and score over larger players. Brooks provides versatility on defense and interesting upside on offense, able to hit the three and attack off the dribble.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":8,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63d15fe197f87"} /-->
