Gray Collegiate – (11-5) The War Eagles have played an incredibly tough schedule this season. Gray Collegiate has lost to Milton HS (GA), Combine Academy (NC), Oak Hill Academy (VA) all by 2 points, along with Lancaster HS 69-66 and Dynamic Prep (TX). The War Eagles have defeated Greenville HS and Ridge View HS along the way. BIG week next week for the War Eagles as they play Wilson HS (Florence) Monday MLK Event and Keenan HS Home and Away in a 5-day span.
UNSIGNED Senior point guard Trai White Trai White 5'10" | PG Gray Collegiate | 2023 State SC leads the way at 14 ppg, 3.7 assists and 2.7 steals. White a 6-year varsity member (4 years at Gray and 2 years at Fairfield Central). White currently has scored 1,438 points in his career. Mychael Mitchell Mychael Mitchell 6'2" | PG Gray Collegiate Academy | 2023 State SC is a state sheet stuffer at times and plays in the backcourt with White. Mitchell is averaging 9.8 ppg, 4.3 rebounds and 3 assists this season. Georgia Southern University signee Avantae Parker Avantae Parker 6'9" | PF Gray Collegiate | 2023 State SC can play inside-out on the floor while averaging 9.4 ppg and 8.1 rebounds. Treyvon Maddox Treyvon Maddox 6'7" | SF Gray Collegiate | 2025 State #81 Nation SC and Ellis Graham Ellis Graham 6'9" | PF Gray Collegiate | 2024 State #305 Nation SC also provide plenty of production. Maddox the #1 player in the 2025 Palmetto State Class averages 8.3 ppg while Graham plays in the paint as a rim protector. Ellis is averaging 6.9 ppg, 7.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks this season.
Oceanside Collegiate – (13-3) – The Landsharks have plenty of bodies on this talented roster for Head Coach Quinton Hollis. UNSIGNED SENIORS Malachi Stevens Malachi Stevens 6'4" | SF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC , Makhi Rivers Makhi Rivers 5'10" | PG Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC , Calvin Davinroy Calvin Davinroy 6'3" | SF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC , Will Regan Will Regan 6'2" | SG Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC , Justin Coleman Justin Coleman 6'5" | PF Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC and Reid Warden Reid Warden 5'11" | SG Oceanside Collegiate | 2023 State SC just to name a few. The Landsharks have lost to Lancaster HS 68-57, Dynamic Prep (TX) and United Faith (NC) this season. Could the Landsharks be the team to beat coming out of the Lower State in Class 2A?
Keenan HS – (8-7) – The Raiders play a TOUGH schedule every season. A few setbacks include Dorman HS, North Mecklenburg HS, Conway HS, Wheeler (GA) and Columbus HS (FL). UNSIGNED SENIORS Chrisean Oree Chrisean Oree 6'3" | CG Keenan | 2023 State SC and Jaylen Golston Jaylen Golston 6'4" | SF Keenan | 2023 State SC lead the charge for the Raiders. Oree a combo guard averages 18.3 ppg while Golston chimes in at 10.1 ppg and 8.3 rebounds. Brian Sumpter Brian Sumpter 6'8" | SF Keenan | 2025 State SC a long and rangy forward and Senior David Elam David Elam 6'3" | PG Keenan | 2023 State SC can step-up to the table at times and lead the way. The Raiders will play Ridge View on MLK Day (Monday) next week along with 2 contests with rival Gray Collegiate.
Wade Hampton HS – (16-1) – The Red Devils are quietly putting together a big season down in Hampton County off I-95. Junior Devon Allen Devon Allen 6'1" | PG Hampton County | 2024 State SC leads a very balanced attack with 15.6 ppg. Sophomore Joshua Goodman Joshua Goodman 6'4" | SF Hampton County | 2025 State SC averages 14.7 ppg and UNSIGNED SENIOR Isaac Gray Isaac Gray 6'0" | PG Wade Hampton | 2023 State SC 14.4 for the Red Devils. The only setback so far this season is to Bradwell Institute (GA). Next season Wade Hampton HS and Estill HS look to be merging into one school district.
Landrum HS – (15-3) – The Cardinals are soaring along the North Carolina/South Carolina border like usual under Head Coach Lyn Smith. The Cardinals have fell this season to Shannon Forest, Estill County HS (KY) and Westside HS (Anderson). Junior guard Franklin Davis Franklin Davis 6'3" | SG Landrum | 2024 State SC is averaging 17.8 ppg, 5.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists a night. Davis has connected on 43% (43-99) from behind the arc. Benett Edwards Benett Edwards 6'2" | SG Landrum | 2025 State SC adds 15.3 ppg and 5.8 rebounds for the Cardinals.
Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw) – (11-3) – The Volunteers always seem to be right in the middle of the action. The Volunteers have lost to South Pointe HS, Great Falls HS and Camden HS this season. The ALWAYS TOUGHNOSED Ghaleb Wilson Ghaleb Wilson 6'2" | SF Andrew Jackson | 2024 State SC leads the way at 16.8 ppg and 5.1 rebounds. Bryce Peterson Bryce Peterson 6'0" | PG Andrew Jackson | 2025 State SC comes in at 9.1 ppg while Freshman Jykevius Johnson Jykevius Johnson 6'4" | PF Andrew Jackson | 2025 State SC adds 6.5 rebounds an outing.
Newberry HS – (10-4) – The Bulldogs have plenty of leadership coming from Darius Elkins Darius Elkins 5'9" | PG Newberry | 2024 State SC and Chrishaud Cromer Chrishaud Cromer 6'6" | SF Newberry | 2023 State SC .
Woodland HS – (7-4) – The Wolverines recently got whacked by Oceanside Collegiate. Ty’ree Edwards Ty’ree Edwards 6'0" | PG Woodland | 2024 State SC leads the Wolverines attack at 15 ppg while jumping-jack Ja’Kease Salley Ja’Kease Salley 6'5" | SF Woodland | 2025 State SC adds 11 ppg and 5.6 rebounds.
Central HS (Pageland) – (9-3) – The Eagles rely on Senior Jaydyn Sowell Jaydyn Sowell 5'8" | PG Central (Pageland) | 2023 State SC 14.9 ppg, Tawaar Webber 14.5 ppg and Sophomore wing player Caden Edmond Caden Edmond 6'2" | SG Central Pageland | 2025 State SC 12 ppg and 7.8 rebounds to lead the way. Sowell a 5 year-varsity member for the Eagles runs the show from out top.
Strom Thurmond HS – (12-6) – The Rebels have had some good balance scoring this season from guard Roosevelt Walker Roosevelt Walker 6'4" | SG Strom Thurmond | 2024 State SC at 15 ppg. Walker is an ultra-athletic left-handed guard. Darrian Hendrix chips in at 10.7 ppg while William Bush William Bush 6'0" | PG Strom Thurmond | 2023 State SC counters with 9.4 ppg. Undersized post player Quan Edmond Quan Edmond 6'3" | SF Strom Thurmond | 2024 State SC adds 7.3 ppg and 5.6 rebounds a outing. The Rebels have suffered setbacks to North Augusta HS and Midland Valley both twice. This team is clicking at the right time maybe to make a run under Head Coach Owen Jacobs.
