is another two-sport athlete who excels in 2A and he is one of my favorites to watch in the State. Salley is an extremely hard worker on both ends of the floor and is extremely versatile. He can guard 1-5 on defense and score from all three levels off the catch or dribble on offense. Salley stands at 6’5″ with a 6’10” wingspan and unique athleticism. Ja’Kease averaged 17.8 Points Per Game, 9.7 Rebounds Per Game, and 4.3 Blocks Per Game in 2023-24 for Woodland who will remain in 2A Region 6. Salley holds football offers from Mississippi Valley State, Florida Central Tech, Minnesota North College, and Denison along with basketball offers from Dean and Central International.

Salley is gearing up for football season this fall. Ja’Kease a wide receiver plays his best basketball around the bucket for the Wolverines. The Run-Jump-Athlete plays the game with a good motor while on the floor for the Wolverines. He manufactures points on putbacks and effort close to the bucket. Ja’Kease is a quick leaper off the deck.
Salley averaged 17.8 ppg, 9.7 rebounds and 4.3 blocks last season for the Wolverines (17-11).

is an exciting prospect who had a dominant performance in the first window of games Thursday. After having some struggles out of the gate, Salley figured out the Ferguson defense and was terrific for the rest of the game. He went for 27 Points, 9 Rebounds, and 2 Blocks. Along with his general efficiency which was quite impressive, Ja’Kease had several flashes on both ends of the floor showing just what his ceiling could be. Salley is extremely athletic, has a good handle, and a high work ethic, and as he displayed today, can take over a game and put a team on his back.

Sulley’s work rate was one of the single most impressive attributes of any prospect in the tournament. He never takes a play off – on either end of the floor. He brings relentless pressure on both ends of the floor, moving his feet and guarding multiple positions on the defensive end, and fighting for second chances and finishing at the rim on the offensive end. Ja’Kease was very good in the Raptors’ second game on Saturday, putting up an imposing 24 Points and 13 Rebounds.

Salley is a very athletic young man who plays great around the rim. Ja’Kease really excels in a transition setting and just playing the game as an activity guy. He plays the game to the fullest at all times and never takes a play off. Salley could really help this Woodland team out a lot this year with his play.

Salley is a long and active body who really plays above the rim at times. Ja’Kease never looks to take a play-off while on the floor.
He rebounds out of his area very well and won’t hesitate to run the floor like a deer while filling the lane in transition. Salley plays the game with a HIGH MOTOR at all times. Ja’Kease plays for the Wolverines down in Dorchester County.
