Elkins a left-handed guard likes to play the game in attack mode from out top. He ran with Team 803 most of the time when Prep Hoops saw him play on the Grassroots Circuit. Elkins has been a fixture in the backcourt for the Bulldogs since his freshman season.
Darius can pull-up from downtown or simply score the ball from all 3 levels at times while on the floor. Elkins plays really well when getting the ball into the gaps and dropping a nice bounce pass from time to time.

Elkins is the catalyst to make the Bulldogs go on both ends of the floor. Darius gets the team into the offense and also brings a strong presence on the defensive end of the floor with his quick hands. He likes to leak out for cheapies in transition. Elkins a left-handed guard can knockdown the three-point ball and shows to have a solid mid-range game at times.
Darius averaged 15 ppg last season for the Bulldogs.
