Felton will have a change of address come this fall. He will join the T-Breds over at South Aiken HS. Ladontae nicknamed “Boogie” is the younger brother of RJ Felton who currently plays at East Carolina University.
Felton whose father Russell Felton coaches the T-Breds girls basketball team over on the southside of Aiken. Boogie can switch directions and finish on either side of the rim with his ability to attack the basket. Felton excels in the transition game along with a solid mid-range game. He will breakdown a defender in the open floor and race to the basket at ease.
Highlights
Jamarie had some very solid showings at times this past Grassroots season and during June play with his Bruins teammates. Brown has great length and athleticism to attack the cup from anywhere on the floor. Jamarie has a nice mid-range game which really showcases his ability to elevate on his jumper.
Brown can explode at many moment on the floor with his ability to score the rock. Jamarie will create his own shot and for his teammates with his crafty passing skills.
Rembert has made the move up to Greenville to attend Legacy Early College this coming fall. Rembert a left-handed point guard has been at Nation Ford HS in Fort Mill since arriving from New York State.
JJ likes to play the game 94-feet and in attack mode to the cup. He will shimmy and shake with the best of them on the way to the rack. Rembert ran with a local based D1 Stars on the Grassroots Circuit this past summer.
Jenkins is certainly not big in size, but he makes up for it in plays and heart. He really keeps the ball low to the deck and touches the paint at will for the Gamecocks. Caleb is a bit of a pest on the defensive end of the floor with his quick hands he generates into steals heading the other way.
Jenkins will connect on open looks at the basket and really plays the game with a fearless mindset. He really keeps the ball low to the deck and rarely turns it over.
Elkins a left-handed guard likes to play the game in attack mode from out top. He ran with Team 803 most of the time when Prep Hoops saw him play on the Grassroots Circuit. Elkins has been a fixture in the backcourt for the Bulldogs since his freshman season.
Darius can pull-up from downtown or simply score the ball from all 3 levels at times while on the floor. Elkins plays really well when getting the ball into the gaps and dropping a nice bounce pass from time to time.
Huff packs a little a bit of swagger and confidence when he’s in the game. Dre can score the ball fairly easy at times. He has the ability to get the ball to the cup or stop and pop from the perimeter. He really likes to create his own scoring opportunities on the floor.
Dre prefers an up-tempo style setting of a game to showcase his talents. Dre and the Wildcats will surely surprise some teams on any given night in the Upstate.
