The summer provided plenty of opportunities for South Carolina's 2027 prospects to make their case, and several took full advantage. Noteworthy performances with high school teams in June and AAU teams in July have led to movement throughout the latest rankings, with these players emerging as some of the class's biggest stock-risers in the August update.

Leading off this list of stock-rising 2027s is [player_tooltip player_id='2384556' first='Jahleel' last='Sanders']. Sanders has clearly established himself not only as one of the best guards in Charleston, but in the entire state. He was a huge part of a scholastic month that established Cane Bay as a State Championship contender, and he continued his strong play into July with [program_tooltip program_id='2231960' first='Big' last='Shots SC'] and the camp season at The Showcase. With his combination of positional size and high-level playmaking, Jahleel is definitely a 2027 guard to know.

Another Cane Bay senior who was a part of their impressive June and earned a jump in the rankings is Lilly. Jackson averaged 1.5 blocks per game a season ago and will likely be one of the state's leaders in that category again in 2026-27. Checking in at a reported 6'8", 235 lbs, Lilly has a very impressive frame, which makes him not only a game-changing defender but also a capable offensive threat inside the paint.

Carter has been up and down in our rankings over the last 12 months, but he should stay inside the Top 100 from here on out. Coggins proved himself to be one of the best shooters in the state on multiple occasions in June, and returned to [program_tooltip program_id='2078724' first='Carolina' last='Pressure'] in July after not playing AAU in the first half of the season. Expect him to put up some monster numbers this season and potentially clip some school records in terms of perimeter output.

Checking it at #88 in the August update is Epting. James had a stock-boosting summer from a recruiting standpoint, earning D2 offers from Anderson and Flagler. Epting broke through at Daniel as a spot-up shooter, but he's gradually become more confident and capable with the ball in his hands, and he could play that way at the next level with improved strength and more consistent decision-making.

Sticking on this run of high-volume perimeter threats in the high 80s is Greenway of West Florence and [program_tooltip program_id='2412982' first='Upward' last='Stars Pee Dee']. Aiden had an excellent summer split between the two, providing much-needed spacing for several elite guards to work. Greenway is not only capable of hitting standstill shots in the corners and on the wings, but he's also a guy you can run actions for with him hitting shots on the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='2776169' first='Eli' last='Campbell'] rounds out this group of stock risers in the Prep Hoops South Carolina Class of 2027 Rankings. Eli made the biggest jump of any prospect in the August update, moving up 49 spots from #184 to #135. I really liked what I saw from Campbell at SCISA Live in June, and I feel he could be one of the best guards and leading scorers in the league in 2026-27.
