On Tuesday night, we didn’t have nearly the amount of games that we normally do as quite a few teams are already off for winter break. In this post, we’re taking a look at some of the top individual performers from Tuesday night’s games. We spotlight some of those performances here. If we missed a top performer, let us know! Yukon improved to 3-3 on the young season with a big win on the road, beating Stillwater 61-53. The Millers had a little over a week off following a tough loss to Nathan Hale in the title game of the tournament in Woodward. They bounced back with a big win on the road before they head into the winter break. In that win Tuesday night, Dylan Snow Dylan Snow 5’10” | PG Yukon | 2024 State OK would have a strong showing as he finished with a game-high 29 points and filled up the stat sheet in a variety of ways as well. Assists, rebounds and steals for Snow who could not be stopped or contained on the offensive end of the floor. Yukon has a few different guards that we really like and want to see more of and you have to include Snow in that conversation. They return to the floor in two weeks against Norman North and then the Weatherford tournament.
From one Dylan to another with Edmond North junior standout Dylan Warlick Dylan Warlick 6’6″ | SF Edmond North | 2024 State #226 Nation OK . The Huskies have been absolutely dominant in Oklahoma so far this season as the defending champions are showing quickly that they truly are the team to beat this year in Class 6A. The Huskies took care of visiting Mustang with a 63-47 victory on Tuesday night and Warlick shined on both ends of the floor. Known last year for making 20 and 10 look easy, Warlick was at it again with 20 points to lead the Huskies in Tuesday’s win. Warlick would also eclipse 1,000 points for his career on Tuesday night. We are looking forward to seeing him and Edmond North up close for three straight days as they now prepare for the Tournament Of Champions in Tulsa. They open up the tournament on Wednesday against Crossings Christian in the first boys game of the day.
Highlights
Coming into Tuesday night, the game of the week in Class 5A had to be Nathan Hale going on the road to face Bishop Kelley in a battle of top ten teams in 5A and two of the better teams on the east side. The Rangers took care of business and got another impressive win as they continue to show us that they are truly one of the top teams in Class 5A this season. They have some serious star power on their team and leading the way is junior guard Kabron Lewis Kabron Lewis 6’2″ | CG Hale | 2024 State OK , who was a good scorer last year and has been on fire so far to start this season. On Tuesday night, the Comets could not contain Lewis as he would go for a game-high 28 points in the win. Lewis and the Rangers now have two weeks off for the winter break before they get back on the court in the Locust Grove tournament.
