Mills was a warrior for Woodward, willing them to victory. Mills plays with impressive tenacity and refused to lose in crunch time. With his physical tools, I’d be really intrigued by Mills on the gridiron, with his aggressiveness and physical tools as a defensive back. On the hardwood, Mills was efficient around the rim and grabbed rebounds over taller players. His leadership was also shown in overtime in a tough road environment.
Parks is one of the toughest guards in the state and had a huge first quarter to give Withrow an early lead that got the crowd engaged. Parks shoots a clean jumper and was able to get to the basket by using the threat of his jumper against defenders. I was also impressed with the defensive ability of Parks, despite his size he is not afraid to get after opposing ball handlers. Parks was efficient from the floor with 18 points on 13 shot attempts.

Henry Jr, the son of former NFL player Chris Henry, is a football first prospect who is also showing his talents on the hardwood. I was impressed with the body control of Henry and his fearlessness against older competition in a crazy environment. Henry finished well around the rim and was more athletic than anybody on the court. He’s one of the most productive freshmen in the state even if his future is likely on the football field.
Walker is such a unique match-up at the high school level with his size and strength. Probably the toughest player in the state to officiate, his size is tough for defenders to match and officials to call fouls. Walker finished efficiently around the basket with his left hand and showed off his impressive passing ability. Walker’s conditioning and ability to defend in space will determine how much he can play early in the Missouri Valley League at Illinois State.
Calloway was dynamic with the ball in his hands and made clutch outside shots to lead his team to a crucial conference victory and stay unbeaten. A buzzer-beater to end the first half gave Hartley some breathing room and his ability to get into the paint off pick and roll opportunities was crucial for their offense. Calloway had some turnovers that will get cut down with experience, but his talent with the ball is undeniable and will only get better over the next couple years. Bishop Hartley is a contender to win a conference and district title with a talented 2025 class that also has Denim Cook Denim Cook 6’3″ | SF Bishop Hartley | 2025 OH and Pharez Nicholas Pharez Nicholas 6’4″ | PF Bishop Hartley | 2025 State OH .
