Another undersized point guard, Alexander ‘Man Man’ Parks is another one of the toughest competitors in the state. An excellent passer, Parks has good feel with the ball in his hands and averaged 4.6 assists per game. Parks is also a dangerous shooter from the outside, knocking down 40% of his 3-point looks this season. Combine these offensive skills with tough defense and Parks is one of the best guards in SW Ohio. Recently took an official visit to Ohio Dominican, Parks should have interest from Division II, III and NAIA programs looking to add toughness from the point guard position.

Parks played hard in a loss against Taft. The lightning quick PG has one of the better shot releases I’ve seen in a point guard this year. Good footwork and gets set on catch-and-shoot situations. Made good reads in the halfcourt and possessed the ball with some of the quicker hands I saw on the day as well.

Parks is one of the toughest guards in the state and had a huge first quarter to give Withrow an early lead that got the crowd engaged. Parks shoots a clean jumper and was able to get to the basket by using the threat of his jumper against defenders. I was also impressed with the defensive ability of Parks, despite his size he is not afraid to get after opposing ball handlers. Parks was efficient from the floor with 18 points on 13 shot attempts.
