Parks played hard in a loss against Taft. The lightning quick PG has one of the better shot releases I’ve seen in a point guard this year. Good footwork and gets set on catch-and-shoot situations. Made good reads in the halfcourt and possessed the ball with some of the quicker hands I saw on the day as well.
Elmer for the 2nd time this year impressed me with his ability to put the Senators on his back and lead the scoring. Elmer knocked down midrange shots both contested and wide open with great mechanics. Tons of athleticism and a high IQ defender. Utilizes his length and gets into passing lanes to start the fast break.
Caleb Robertson
Caleb Robertson
Robertson was one of the newer names I watched and I liked what I saw out of the senior big. Very smart post player with a great understanding of how to play on the blocks. Fantastic footwork and uses his frame to create shot opportunities with his back to the basket. Cleans the glass on both ends.
Starks is one of the more physical and athletic PFs I’ve seen this season. Very obvious understanding of how to use his entire frame to back down and power through defenders. Excelled defensively and met the ball at the rim.
