Above Expectations: The Teams and the Player Leading Them

Buffalo (4-0) and [player_tooltip player_id='1491756' first='Nate' last='Dahl']. Buffalo isn't just beating people, they are crushing people by 25 points a game! Their defense has been great and they have really shut down some good scorers with Dahl scoring 24 himself.

Cretin-Derham Hall (4-2) and [player_tooltip player_id='1139382' first='Jake' last='Little']. CDH has won two more games than I would have predicted and Little joining [player_tooltip player_id='1220383' first='Adam' last='Tauer'], Miles Bollinger, and [player_tooltip player_id='1288789' first='Luke' last='Jacobson'] as consistent options has been big.

Edina (2-3) and [player_tooltip player_id='1284163' first='Josiah' last='Coleman']. Two wins and on here? Yes. The Hornets have beaten Lakeville South and East Ridge facing a tough schedule and Josiah - an MCA transfer - is leading the team in scoring.

Hopkins (6-1) and [player_tooltip player_id='1574212' first='Anthony' last='Smith III']. The Hopkins sophomore is scoring 21 points a game leading the team to about 1-2 more wins than I would have thought this early in the year.

Minneapolis Southwest (6-0) and [player_tooltip player_id='1297887' first='Liam' last='Farniok']. Liam, a junior, is scoring nearly 29 points a game so far this season. He's got the Lakers undefeated and about 2-3 games better than expected.

Robbinsdale Cooper (3-1) and [player_tooltip player_id='1638427' first='Michael' last='Cooper']. Not only has Cooper been good, they have two high quality wins and Cooper has been a forward that teams can't stop from getting 20 and 10.

Rochester Mayo (5-0) and [player_tooltip player_id='1525727' first='sawyer' last='markham']. Make no mistake, [player_tooltip player_id='1140142' first='Isaiah' last='Hanson'] is having a great year but he's getting quality support from junior [player_tooltip player_id='1525727' first='sawyer' last='markham'] who has had a great start.

Roseville (5-1) and [player_tooltip player_id='1671420' first='Evan' last='Fischer']. The Raiders are really only about a game better than I expected them to be but 5-1 for them is fantastic and Fisher scoring 15 a game was something you could pry foresee if you saw them in fall league. Good player.

St. Michael-Albertville (4-1) and Logan Janz. The Knights are doing this with great balance so it's a team wide think, Janz is averaging double figures.

[player_tooltip player_id='1172835' first='Casmir' last='Chavis'] of Park Center

[player_tooltip player_id='962246' first='Ben' last='Kopetzki'] of Andover

[player_tooltip player_id='1550877' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] of Hopkins

[player_tooltip player_id='962206' first='Max' last='Shikenjanski'] of Stillwater

[player_tooltip player_id='962214' first='Nolan' last='Winter'] of Lakeville North
