Is one of the most historic basketball events in North Florida during the Holiday times. Started in 1991 with college teams then transitioned to high school in 2000. The two day event is special because of the significance that basketball was created on this very day. December 21st-22cd puts some of the best local area teams and South Georgia teams together under one roof.
Mahki Brown | 6’1 | R.F Munroe
The 6’1 guard showed he is the best passer in the city in a win vs FAMU DRS. He is not surrounded by the best of talent but he continuously made the right play at the right time. Finishing with 20 points and 8 assist, the lefty showed he can go right or left with control and pace. Defensively he is a pest guarding 94 feet every possession. Most of his damage came from getting downhill. He will need to knockdown some shots to open the floor more not only for himself but his teammates as well.
Rashard White | 6’6 | Famu Drs
Long and rangy athlete that did everything he could to keep his team in the game. Scored a team high 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assist. A willing defender that will sit in his stance longer than 45 seconds and communicates on the weak side of the defense. Can handle the ball fairly well for his size, he uses his body to get defenders on his hip getting down hill. He did most of his work in transition where he finished off two feet or one efficiently.
Colin Mcallister | 5’10 | Maclay
Heart of a lion and one of the most skilled guards of Day one. He scored 25 points and did it from all 3 levels. The oppositions size did not affect him getting downhill playing off two feet which led to good results. He played at a pace in which he could not be sped up and turnt the corner on most of his defenders. Did not force shots but had the green light and stayed aggressive throughout the game.
Anthony Robinson Anthony Robinson 6'3" | PG Florida State University Hig | 2023 State #133 Nation FL | 6’3 | FSUS
The Missouri signee came out and showed why he is the best player in Tallahassee. He finished with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals. He scored the ball efficiently going 12/16 FG and 4/4 from the Free throw line. He harassed defenders all game and took what the defense gave him on offense. He had 3 monster dunks, one in which he finished over a bigger defender.
Trey Card Trey Card 6'5" | SF Florida | 2025 State FL | 6’5 | FSUS
The sophomore is starting hit his stride and finished the game with 13 points, 4 assist and 3 rebounds. The young mans basketball IQ is way more advanced for his age with how he makes the right play for either himself or his teammates. Playing with senior guards he understands how to be patient on the offensive end and rarely forced the issue.
Blaise Wallace Blaise Wallace 6'6" | PF Maclay | 2023 State FL | 6’6 | Maclay
The Albany State commit was a rebounding machine today. He finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds, he would have had more if the high school game was not 8 minute quarters. The offense ran through him and he made the correct play attacking left or right when available. He played off 2 feet the entire game with poise and took what the defense gave him.
