The Mustangs are lead by Braketa who has been shooting the lights out in his recent games. Braketa continues to build on an impressive freshman year. Braketa is averaging 25.1 points a game and is shooting it at high clip with 46% from 3. Braketa is getting in the passing lanes as well as he is averaging 2.8 steals a game. He is a versatile player, would like to see him get inside and get to the free throw line more. Braketa is making himself automatic from the line shooting 90% and would be a difference maker in this aspect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369811' first='Anthony' last='Nettles']- Douglas County

Nettles is a player that creates off the dribble and is averaging 18.9 points per game. He is able to knock down his threes as well which makes him a good outside player that can create inside. He has made an effort to work on his free throws and you can see that with his touch in recent games. Nettles is shooting 41% from three but has been struggling as of late. If he can put it all together he will be a player to start turning heads quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369808' first='LaDavian' last='King']- Eaglecrest

The Raptors are lead by King who has range and can knock down deep three point shots. He is good in transition, uses his speed and handles to get to the basket as well as making it difficult on defenders on the perimeter. King is averaging 17.2 points per game and is shooting 81% from the free throw line. With senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='973002' first='Peyton' last='Taylor'] leaving after this year, I see King bringing this young core together being more well rounded guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369810' first='Cole' last='Scherer']- Valor Christian

Scherer is averaging 16.1 points per game and he is a corner specialist. He is a sniper from the corner as well as from the top of the key. Scherer is the Eagles focal point as he is the teams stat leader and makes an impact on both ends of the floor. This 6'2 guard can get it going on the offensive side when given the chance. Will look for Scherer to continue to show how well rounded he is as a player moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1717269' first='Moses' last='West']- Mountain Range

West and the Mustangs are on a three game winning streak and West has been improving his play in this streak. West is a two-way guard for the Mustangs and is averaging 15.1 points per game and is averaging 3.1 steals per game. West was able to put it all together his last game out and scored 30 points with 11 coming from the free throw line. He will need to build off of this performance moving forward to help the Mustangs get back to .500.
