Anyone who gets the rebound is a threat to lead the break. [player_tooltip player_id='1088851' first='Reece' last='Potter'] did an incredible job rim running that forced Frederick Douglas into bad matchups and get easy baskets. [player_tooltip player_id='1148609' first='Tyler' last='Doyle'] did a great job kicking ahead using his size to see over the defense (finished with 10 assists) and [player_tooltip player_id='1043605' first='Hudson' last='Sparks'] was great finishing at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1133838' first='Kai' last='Simpson'] is ready to LEAD

[player_tooltip player_id='1133838' first='Kai' last='Simpson'] proved tonight he is ready to lead this young Frederick Douglas team pouring in 26 points going 6/11 from the field and 3/5 from 3pt range. He showcased his ability to score at all three levels but loved how he attacked the rim finishing thru contact using his strong frame. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1344607' first='Armelo' last='Boone'] helped out in the scoring column scoring 22 points but Simpson will allow some of the younger guards like Boone to develop under him.

Lexington Catholic is lethal from 3pt range

Just about every player on this Lex Cath team is a threat to score from distance. [player_tooltip player_id='1216424' first='John' last='Reinhart'] gave them a lift early knocking down 2 from 3pt range. As the game went on a total of 5 different players made a 3, including Potter who stands at 7 feet. [player_tooltip player_id='1043605' first='Hudson' last='Sparks'] came out in the second half hot knocking down 3 straight 3's as he has almost automatic when he has time and gets his feet set. What is underrated about them as a team is they are incredibly unselfish, so they usually get great looks every time down the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1043605' first='Hudson' last='Sparks'] BUY STOCK NOW

I walked away from the game most impressed with Sparks. He has good size on the wing and score at all three levels. Plays with a high IQ and is a threat to score every time he touches it. He's also an underrated athlete as he threw down an impressive dunk in the 4th quarter. Poised to have a monster senior season.
