2024 Rankings Update: Standout Athletes

Alante uses long strides and great balance to will his way through tough defense on the way to the rim. At the rim he has a variety of moves he uses to shake defenders, often using euro-steps. He is a good vertical athlete who can finish above the rim and through contact. When driving to the basket he does a good job of stopping quickly and keeping his pivot to create shots off of two feet. From three-point land, Alante's shot is respectable off the catch, if he improves to become a knockdown shooter it would take his game to the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1318406' first='Doren' last='Sacha'] - Thomas Jefferson</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1318406' first='Doren' last='Sacha'] is a bouncy guard who can make a difference on both ends of the floor. On the defensive end, he has good footspeed to stay in front of defenders and quick hands to poke the ball away. Doren is good at getting downhill and has good scoring instincts when at the rim. Torian is a good cutter who uses his athleticism to get high in the air and finish around defenders. He can create for himself off of the rip through using a quick first step to get downhill. On the defensive end, he is an impressive on-ball defender who has great instincts allowing him to stay in front of opponents. Torian has long arms that he uses to bother opponents getting good contests and deflecting passes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1421260' first='Ryan' last='Dixon'] - Valor Christian</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1421260' first='Ryan' last='Dixon'] is a smaller power forward who makes up for his lack of height with elite athleticism. Ryan is a tough player who can bully guys bigger than him due to his strength. He is also a talented vertical athlete who finishes a lot of dunks above the rim. Ryan sets solid screens and is a good roller to the basket who has good hands to catch passes. On the defensive end, Ryan is tough down low and can make good blocks when playing help-side defense. Ryan boosted his stock with a good AAU season showing off his consistent production.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
