Some of the best basketball players in the state will converge on Edmond on Sunday morning to take part in the Top250 Expo at The Hive facility. We’ll have wall to wall coverage of the event and let you know who’s standing out during the day and have a ton of articles following the camp, breaking down some of the best performances. In this post, we take a sneak peak at the event with a look at some of the better prospects that have signed up and are ready to improve their game, get better and go against strong competition.

Buddy Hammer Buddy Hammer 6'7" | SF Westville | 2023 State OK – Westville

A prospect that I’m looking forward to seeing is Westville senior forward Buddy Hammer Buddy Hammer 6'7" | SF Westville | 2023 State OK . Our writers have seen him throughout the offseason but this will be my first look at him and from everything I’ve heard and read, he’s the real deal when it comes to small school standouts. Hammer is a strong wing that has some rare athleticism for his size. He can get his shot up from a variety of spots on the floor and he should be as close to a guarantee for a highlight play or two throughout the day. Hammer definitely has the potential to be the best small school product in attendance.

Cameron Smith Cameron Smith 5'11" | SG Moore | 2023 State OK – Moore

Moore made a surprising run all the way to the Class 6A state championship game back in March and the Lions are hungry to make it back there in 2023. Leading the way will be senior guard Cameron Smith Cameron Smith 5'11" | SG Moore | 2023 State OK , who should be in a new role with the team this season. With Chiante Tramble Chiante Tramble 6'2" | PG Putnam City West | 2024 State #262 Nation OK (mentioned below) has moved to Putnam City West, that should open up things for Smith to have more of a control on the offense. We caught Smith in action several times at various Prep Hoops Circuit events during the offseason and he has the potential to be one of the better point guards at the Edmond event.

Chiante Tramble Chiante Tramble 6'2" | PG Putnam City West | 2024 State #262 Nation OK – Putnam City West

In addition to prospects that are looking to get noticed, we’re going to have some certified star power in attendance and participating as well. Putnam City West guard Chiante Tramble Chiante Tramble 6'2" | PG Putnam City West | 2024 State #262 Nation OK is going to be arguably the best prospect at the event. Fresh off his recent ranking within our national ranks for the 2024 class, Tramble is looking to raise his stock in-state. He definitely has the potential to absolutely take this event over and be one of the top performers. It will be fun to watch what he does with a new cast of teammates.

Cole Allen Cole Allen 6'5" | SG McAlester | 2023 State OK – McAlester

For me personally, I’m looking forward to this event because it was the first thing I ever covered for Prep Hoops and that was a little over a year ago. One of the prospects I remember watching was 2023 wing Cole Allen Cole Allen 6'5" | SG McAlester | 2023 State OK , who is now at McAlester. In addition to the Expo, I got a chance to see Allen quite a bit throughout the offseason and there’s one thing that he’ll bring to the table and that’s shooting. Allen was one of the better shooters I saw this offseason when you consider his size and length. He’s going to look to get his shot up early to find his touch.

Dalen Fuller Dalen Fuller 6'4" | CG Union | 2024 State OK – Union

When we checked out who was headed to Edmond for this event, one player that caught our eye was Union junior guard Dalen Fuller Dalen Fuller 6'4" | CG Union | 2024 State OK , who is one of the best overall athletes in the state. This should be a setting where Fuller can just absolutely show out as these games are essentially pick up games and Fuller will have very little restrictions. He can absolutely jump out of the gym and we’re going to go ahead and tell you right now to catch him in person if you’re headed to the event because he should be making a few highlight plays every single time he hits the floor.

Garrett Scott Garrett Scott 6'3" | PG Pocola | 2024 OK – Pocola

Back to another small school in southeastern Oklahoma, Pocola guard Garrett Scott Garrett Scott 6'3" | PG Pocola | 2024 OK is ready to show that he’s a 2024 prospect on the rise. Scott is also a standout on the football field at the wide receiver position and Pocola is in the middle of a playoff push within their district. It will be interesting to see how Scott performs considering he’s in the middle of football. But for a lot of the players in attendance, that will be the case. Scott is a guard that impressed us earlier this year at team camp so we’re looking forward to seeing where his game is at on Sunday.

Jarreth Ingram Jarreth Ingram 6'7" | SF Memorial | 2023 State OK – Memorial

If you’re going to check out the Expo event on Sunday, we’ll give you some advice ahead of time. Whatever team Memorial forward Jarreth Ingram Jarreth Ingram 6'7" | SF Memorial | 2023 State OK is on, and whenever they’re playing, be there. Ingram will rival Union’s Dalen Fuller Dalen Fuller 6'4" | CG Union | 2024 State OK as the biggest highlight machine in the field and has a chance to put something very special on tape every time he steps on the floor. As a junior, Ingram played a specific role on the Memorial championship team. This year, he’ll move into the starting lineup and provide a new spark to the lineup. We get our first look at the new Ingram on Sunday.

Jayden Mott Jayden Mott 6'8" | PF Carl Albert | 2024 State OK – Carl Albert

We go from one highlight player to a grown man that is a junior in high school. That’s what you get when it comes to Carl Albert junior forward Jayden Mott Jayden Mott 6'8" | PF Carl Albert | 2024 State OK . We had our second photoshoot this past weekend in the OKC area and Mott was one of the players in attendance. He passes every eye test in the books and looks like a player that is getting ready to absolutely dominate Class 5A basketball. Mott had a strong sophomore season but he’s hungry for more as the Titans look to get back into the state championship conversation in Class 5A this winter.

Jordan England Jordan England 6'2" | CG Carl Albert | 2023 State OK – Carl Albert

Sticking with Carl Albert standouts, we go from the big man to the guard that makes that Titan offense go with senior guard Jordan England Jordan England 6'2" | CG Carl Albert | 2023 State OK . I got a chance to see England in person several times throughout the offseason after he had a very strong junior campaign. He’s an impressive guard that can do a little bit of everything so he should absolutely thrive in Sunday’s setting. Whether it’s creating for himself or others, playing stingy defense or leading the offense, England has a pretty deep bag of tools that he’s about to unleash on opponents in Edmond.

Madden Padilla Madden Padilla 5'9" | SG Lawton | 2024 State OK – Lawton

There are quite a few shooters on this list and that will be in attendance on Sunday but Lawton senior guard Madden Padilla Madden Padilla 5'9" | SG Lawton | 2024 State OK might be the best of the bunch. When it comes to the players on this list that I’ve seen in person, Padilla is the best shooter and he showed it throughout the offseason. It seemed like every time I watched Padilla in person, he was hitting at least five three-pointers and making it look routine. Going off for 30-35 points looked easy for Padilla at times. That’s someone we’re definitely going to be watching to see if he heats up quick on Sunday.
