Fuller has been assaulting rims since he was in middle school, and has always been the “Human Highlight Reel” of this class. Along with his effortless leaping ability, his end to end speed makes him a terror in transition. But his production was among the most volatile in the class, with questionable decision making as a shooter and passer. That made him a boom or bust prospect as an underclassmen, now as a senior he has been one of the best players on one of the best teams in the state. Fuller is still capable of dunking on anyone, but he’s greatly improved his passing ability. Establishing real chemistry with the Redhawks’ skilled post prospects. His willingness to give the ball up has made him even more dangerous as a scorer, with the lefty still capable of catching fire and rattling off consecutive makes in the mid-range and beyond the arc. Union has established themselves as one the most complete and best teams in 6A, and the all around impact of the uber-athletic Fuller has been a key component.

Union seems to be solidifying themselves as one of the biggest threats to Edmond North’s reign in Class 6A and Fuller is a big reason why. The explosive senior got it going early with a pair of transition alley oops, then closed out the first by draining a near 30 footer as the horn sounded. It’s been that type of year for Fuller, as he mixes breathtaking athleticism with more controlled play and improved shot selection. The lefty is one of the few players who can truly be a three level scorer.
An academic qualifier, if Fuller finishes the year strong and consistently he could be one of the biggest targets for four year programs who are still looking to add athleticism and upside to their backcourt.

Joining his point guard in double figures in the first half alone, Fuller continues to play the game with more control and efficiency as a senior than he did at any point previously in his high school career. He can still seemingly at will get to where he want for pull up jumpers, but now the lefty is willing to play off his talented big men more. It continues to be refreshing to watch the most explosive athlete in Oklahoma play with more control and chemistry with his teammates. Which is a very promising longterm sign.

Fuller grabs attention when he steps in the gym. In the past it’s involved a dunk contest like package of slams in warm ups, to crazy explosiveness in transition, to some head scratching decision making. It has always been a ride watching the 918 standout. He’s started his senior year with promise, first showing some flashes of better control and unselfishness in a November scrimmage. Then he put together a dominating performance in the championship game of the Edmond Open.rnThere is a pathway to success at the next level with a great example of another Oklahoma prospect who had similar athletic gifts along with up and down production. 2019 Broken Arrow Tiger Caleb Huffman had two stellar years at Iowa Western (juco) before having a pair of double digit scoring seasons over three years at Central Michigan and Nichols State, two D1 programs. Huffman is now playing overseas.
The right junior college and Fuller continuing to grow in maturity and understanding of the game could offer him the opportunity to blaze a similar trail. Or a forward looking four year program could offer him an opportunity, in hopes of developing his potential to be an “all conference” type player as an upperclassman.

The electric senior of course had a pair of exciting dunks that few players in Oklahoma could replicate. But that was the only the start of a great performance for Fuller. He’s long been an volatile player, with exciting highs and confusing lows. Today was one of his most steady and impactful performances. He was unselfish as a passer, making willing feeds to his talented post players. Whenever he got an open lane in the halfcourt, Fuller was a blur to the rim. Wasting no time to attack, but he also showed more patience with the ball and picked smarter shots when he was covered or even got off the ball and kept the offense flowing. There were a couple times he took a heatcheck jumper or two, but overall it was better at getting downhill first and create space to shoot more in the 10-15 range instead of jacking quick three pointers.
There were a couple fourth quarter instances that captured the growth in Fuller’s approach. In the past, there have been times when Fuller’s decision making particular in transition has been an adventure. Because his approach has been to go for the biggest highlight reel play. Twice he pushed after getting passes following defensive rebounds. Both times instead of trying to put an opponent through the rim or making a crazy pass, he had controlled moves to either draw the foul to go along with the score or avoid the contact all together. Making the simple play and playing under more control will add up even quicker than his rim rattling slams.
If this mindset on Saturday is a sign of improvement for Fuller, he could be an absolute steal at the next level because his athleticism has always been Division One.

One of the most physically gifted prospects in this class, and frankly the last five years in Oklahoma, Fuller has always had an immense ceiling. But inconsistent play and decision making on the court have left question marks about how good he is and can be. The quickness and leaping ability he plays with is unmatched in Oklahoma, but he can become too reliant on those natural gifts. Which has often led to out of control decision making through questionable shot selection or wild passes. But when the lefty’s streaky jumper is on, and he plays with focus, Fuller can look nearly unstoppable.
The raw physical traits will give Fuller opportunities at the next level, Redlands Community College recently offered. Nut it’s up to the Redhawk to capitalize on that and other to finish his high school career strong and set himself up for success at the next level.

The athletic upside has always been there for Fuller. It still is, as he’s a blur with the ball in transition, often finishing with a highlight reel slam. In the halfcourt he’s often able to get to any spot he want, allowing him to hit in the mid-range. There’s even been flashes of improving touch and vision as a passer.
Natural talent will never be the question for the Union Redhawk. If he can find consistency on the court and in his actions, he’ll find himself a popular name for college coaches.

was the leading scorer in the game with 20 points, but he played great defense to go along with it. He is the other piece that I referred to above. Between him and Cedric, they have the perimeter locked down. He has good length and athleticism to help him defensively. He had one great contest that forced an airball. On a different play, he blocked the ball off of the backboard in transition. There was another play that he forced a steal and scored in transition. His scoring came from mostly at the rim, but he showed the ability to knock down the mid-range shot and the three. He showed off his athleticism with a couple of crazy dunks in this game, one of them coming off of a steal and the other one was when he finished an alley-oop. He had a great performance on both ends of the court in this one.

was amazing in this one and showed why he is the #18 ranked junior in the state. He finished with a game high 20 points and made a big impact defensively, as well. He played sensational defense on a regular basis, which resulted in multiple steals. There were some times that he came up with a steal and finished at the other end. One of the times, he stole the ball and finished with a crazy dunk. On defense, he had a great shot contest that forced an air-ball, as well as other great shot contest. He also blocked a shot off of the backboard in transition. On offense, he finished several times at the rim, one of them being an alley-oop dunk. Most of his points came at the rim, but he also showed the ability to hit a three pointer or mid-range jumper. If I was to choose a player of the game in this one, it would be

came off the bench on Tuesday night to give the Redhawks a spark, especially in the second quarter. Fuller would finish with 14 points and 12 came in the second and third quarters. Fuller is still one of the best athletes that we’ve seen on the basketball floor in the state. When he gets the ball in transition, there isn’t much that can stop him or even slow him down from getting to the basket. That element is definitely fun to watch as he can go get a basket seemingly whenever he wants. He also was shooting the ball from beyond the arc well on Tuesday night.
