Class 1A – Way too soon semi-final and championship match-ups

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a high school basketball fan myself, I can't wait for the season to get started. This leaves me with not much trouble in creating hundreds of scenarios in my head about how the season may unfold. May I share one of those with you. My way too early but I can't help it state semi-final match-ups for class 1A.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In my mind the scenery doesn't change much when I consider these match-ups. At least the teams in it were all in Yakima last season, not all played in the semis though. Here's my pre-mature hoop dream match-ups. Complete with the game numbers and seeds. Bottom team is home team on the scoreboard. I could write this with the opposite results and not feel like it's a stretch. Kings defeats Zillah in a close one all the way.[player_tooltip player_id='1354101' first='Cam' last='Hiatt'] in the end was too much for Zillah. He scores a game high 33 points, including 12 in the 4th quarter to put Kings back in the state title game. A familiar spot. Zillah is led by [player_tooltip player_id='1270840' first='Luke' last='Navarre']'s 27 points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the later game, Annie Wright survives a slow start to defeat Lynden Christian, and secure their first ever appearance in the title game. [player_tooltip player_id='1450980' first='Martin' last='Kaupanger'] leads Annie Wright with 25 points. Annie Wright has the school's first state championship in boys basketball championship. I can now move on to the next game. Possibly a 2A semifinal and championship game.
