Yellow Team Preview

This event is a FREE INVITE-ONLY event to ensure that only the best in the NWO/Toledo area are being put in front of college coaches. This article below will cover one of the eight teams in the event. This article will cover the Yellow Team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1432039' first='Makhi' last='Leach'] - 2025 - G 6'2 - Central Catholic</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Leach is someone that could be special. He is a very long and skinny player that is a very nice athlete. Can do it all athletically but hasn't shown the ability to put it all together yet but he has only played one year of varsity ball. He has shown flashes of what his ceiling is. He is very good at getting to the rim and finishing in multiple different ways. Very nice touch around the rim. Love to see him add more levels to his game but someone that has a very high ceiling.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1164623' first='Stone' last='Edwards'] - 2023 - W 6'4 - Start</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Edwards is someone I haven't seen play live but someone I have heard great things about. He is a tall and long wing with a wide frame that can go get a bucket. He has a nice smooth jumper that can shoot over most people with his height and length.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Pharrell House - 2023 - W 6'6 - Rogers</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>House is a very nice prospect. He is a very tall and long wing that can move well. He has a good skill set and shot to go along with it. His height and long arms give him a good ability to shoot over people as well. Has the potential to catch some coaches' eyes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Isaiah Wilson - 2025 - G 5'10 - Lima Senior</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wilson is someone that will play his tail off and won't give you any space to breathe on defense. Tough. Has great defensive effort and just like all Lima Senior kids he loves to play defense and make you uncomfortable when you have the ball.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='867932' first='Jabari' last='Conway'] - 2023 - F/C 6'7 - Bowling Green</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Conway is a nice prospect. He is a very big kid and has really good size and strength to him. You would like to see him use that strength more than he does but he already has a presence in the post. He gets tons of rebounds and is a tough object to shoot over. His jump shot is good and is improving every time I see him play. He plays hard and has a high motor. Does a good job of running the floor.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jaylen Murphy - 2024 - G 6'2 - St. John's Jesuit</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Murphy isn't someone that will surprise you physically but his skill is not a question. Murphy is a tall and long kid that can shoot the heck out of the ball. He has great range and is getting more confident and comfortable. He is also getting more athletic. Jumping higher and moving his feet better. Understanding the game more.
