If you were looking for a clutch player from Saturday’s action, look no further than Golan. In both games he played Golan had the go-ahead bucket in the final minute of action to push his team to victory. Golan is a workhouse on the glass and used his strength and motor to get extra chances for himself and his teammates. A standout on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Golan continues to prove himself each time I watch him play.

A new prospect who caught my eye on Saturday was Coyne, he was efficient with the shots he took and made big plays for his team in both games. Coyne used his length to score on the inside against shorter defenders and got open consistently without the ball in his hands. The lefty also knocked down a couple jumpers, an overall solid performance.
Another Mason prospect makes this list as Menker once again stood out for his team. Menker is a worker who scored a lot of his points by playing harder than the opposition. Menker also doesn’t need to score the ball to make an impact on the game as he makes the smart quick pass and rebounds well for his position. I want to see Menker take the next step as a spot-up shooter and driver this winter to take his game to the next level.
Highlights
Alex Smith
Alex Smith
Smith is one of the few 2026 prospects that I’ve seen but despite playing up multiple age groups in this league, looks like he belongs week in and week out. Smith is an elite shooter off the catch with the size to shoot over smaller defenders closeouts. Smith has some progression to make in the weight room and defensively but with his size, shooting ability and athleticism there’s a high ceiling for this freshman.
An elite shooting prospect, Watters made it rain from long range in both games I caught of his on Saturday. Watters has good size at 6’3 and has a quick release. I was also impressed with Watters ability to finish when he occasionally put the ball on the floor. With Watters and Trenton Minor Trenton Minor 6’4″ | PF Big Walnut | 2024 State OH , Big Walnut has a nice 2024 duo to build with this season.
