Golan was flat out productive for a Mason squad that got behind early and had to rally late to avoid an upset. Golan finished with seven offensive rebounds and a game-high 21 points to help his team get the win. The duo of Golan and

, who had some powerful dunks to help change momentum have been a key force all season for the Comets as they adjust to a more up-tempo style under new Head Coach Adam Toohey. Golan’s game is not flashy but he’s productive, strong, tough and has been consistent all season long. Division III programs should check Golan out as an undersized power forward who will grind every opportunity he has on the floor.

Golan is a productive high school player who could break out this winter as a senior. Golan was productive getting what he wanted around the basket. I love the motor that Golan plays with and he’s showing that his summer and fall production will translate to the high school season. Expect Golan to compete for an all-conference selection in the competitive GMC this season.

If you were looking for a clutch player from Saturday’s action, look no further than Golan. In both games he played Golan had the go-ahead bucket in the final minute of action to push his team to victory. Golan is a workhouse on the glass and used his strength and motor to get extra chances for himself and his teammates. A standout on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Golan continues to prove himself each time I watch him play.

Golan received his first college spot from Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati earlier today, showing that small colleges are interest in the wing forward from Mason. Golan was consistent as a producer for R4L on the Prep Hoops Circuit and is steadily improving. Golan is skilled and can shoot it from the outside and use his wider frame to score around the paint. Expect more small colleges to be interested in Golan this winter.
