Who are some of these players college programs need to be aware of besides just following the Transfer Portal. Remember to #RecruitThePalmettoState
Malachi just brought another solid performance to the table here at the SC Top 250 Expo. Stevens finished everything in transition today when he wasn’t converting on some perimeter jumpers.
Stevens should see his recruitment move some this fall as long as every college doesn’t try to recruit the Transfer Portal. Malachi will be a player programs need to continue to monitor down the road and especially when he has his best basketball still in front of him.
Justin has done it all spring and summer with his play. He kept it going one more weekend.
Justin delivers results inside the paint and today converted on 5 three pointers in a game Prep Hoops watched while scoring 24 points. He really has defined his body to play both forward spots and be the ultimate mismatch guy at times. Coleman has no problems rebounding the ball through traffic and at times leading the breakup the floor with his ball-handling.
Whysong made a strong impression on Prep Hoops back in June in the SCBCA Team Camp in Rock Hill. He lived up to the billing again this weekend with his play on the floor.
Johnathan a future Stock-Riser along with a few others in this article is a very deceptive athlete. Whysong almost looks like he has grown some more since seeing him last. He will be worth a follow this season in the Upstate on the hurricanes roster for Head Coach Fran Campbell.
Highlights
Henley was a last-minute sign up for the Prep Hoops South Carolina Top 250 Expo. Connor has hit a late growth spurt and who knows if he’s done with that plateau.
Connor can be a face-up 4-man with his ability to step-out and knockdown the 15–17-foot jumper. Henely plays the game very hard and still is still figuring out where he fits on the floor. Chiefs Head Coach Ryan Walker really looks to have Connor in the the plans this season for North Myrtle Beach HS down in Region 6-4A.
Bell does it for the Knights a small Class 1A SCISA school in Summerville. Matterius has a quick set of hands and seems to be a bit of a pesky defender at times.
Bell was able to drop a few short mid-range jumpers for his efforts today.
Rhett is about as tough as they come on the hardwood. Norris brings every bit of effort to the floor from the backcourt position. He in my eyes is just a guard not true point guard or a shooting guard – just a guard you find minutes for him to play.
He might not fill up the score column but it sure won’t because from lack of effort at all. The kid brings it every minute he’s on the floor. When there is a loose ball, he’s on the floor for it. The ultimate team player you find minutes for every game.
Reynolds we first saw back in June at the SCBCA Team Camp for the Predators and Head Coach Adnrew Peckham. Reynolds has really good length and did a good job of filling the lane in transition.
Malik showed be a threat from behind the arc with his ability to knockdown the 3-ball.
Sanders was a new name today for the Prep Hoops folks. He really walked away making a strong impression with his play. Demitrius really likes to play the game in attack mode while slashing to the rack.
Sanders picked the pockets of some his opponents more than a few times today and they led to easy baskets going the other way.
