Stevens and the Landsharks find themselves down in Class 2A this season. Malachi at times could be an ideal run-jump-athlete who fills the lane in transition. He has a nice perimeter stroke to keep defenders honest. Malachi has a long and rangy wingspan where he can be active in the passing lanes while picking up some deflections along the way.

Stevens is a nice sized wing player for the Landsharks. Malachi can knockdown perimeter jumpers or look to stalk the baseline and finish it with a flush from time to time. He really seems to excel at times in the transition and open floor game. Malachi averaged 14 ppg last season for the Landsharks. He ran on the Grassroots Circuit this past season with TMP ‘ last=”].

Stevens is best suited at the wing with his size and willingness to get out in transition. Malachi had a good summer for TMP ‘ last=”] and the Landsharks on the high school circuit. When he gets things going on the perimeter shooting the ball defenders could be in for a long night.

Malachi just brought another solid performance to the table here at the SC Top 250 Expo. Stevens finished everything in transition today when he wasn’t converting on some perimeter jumpers.
Stevens should see his recruitment move some this fall as long as every college doesn’t try to recruit the Transfer Portal. Malachi will be a player programs need to continue to monitor down the road and especially when he has his best basketball still in front of him.

Malachi had a good summer on the High School and Grassroots Circuit. Stevens really excel in transition game and has the ability to fill the lane in transition. Malachi has good size for a wing and still hasn’t reach his potential at all in my opinion.
