Sanders was a very nice surprise earlier this fall at the Prep Hoops South Carolina Top 250 Expo. Look for him to debut in the new 2023 Palmetto State Rankings later this month. Sanders averaged 10.5 ppg and 6.7 rebounds last season for the Auctioneers. Demitrius really plays the game full out with his effort and determination on both ends of the floor. He creates scoring chances on the defensive end while picking up steals in the passing lanes.

Sanders was a pleasant surprise at the Prep Hoops South Carolina Top 250 Expo last weekend. Look for him to show up in the rankings in the next update in Mid-October.

Sanders swarmed the ball at times on defense and really showed a willingness to get to the rack with the ball.

Sanders was a new name today for the Prep Hoops folks. He really walked away making a strong impression with his play. Demitrius really likes to play the game in attack mode while slashing to the rack.

Sanders picked the pockets of some his opponents more than a few times today and they led to easy baskets going the other way.

Sanders is already busy this fall semester athletically given how he wears both basketball sneakers and football cleats. Sanders is listed at 6-foot-2 and is effective defensively as a shot blocker. He understands how to throw defenders off balance when he has the ball in his hands as they do not know if he will attack or dish the rock out to an open teammate. Sanders can turn offensive rebounds into two-point putbacks and get crafty with how he finishes at the rim with the occasional reverse layup. The Auctioneers should be one of the teams to watch in 2A play this upcoming season.
