Hakki proved to be a threat from beyond the arc at the Top 25. He hit a pretty corner 3 that was put up with confidence.
Highlights
Johnson has the potential to be a very dangerous 3 point shooter. He was able to hit one even with a hand in his face.
Cicalo uses his off the ball movement to find looks at the rim from beyond the arc. He was excellent off catch and shoot 3’s at the Freshman Showcase.
Highlights
Robbins is a solid perimeter player. He scored from all over the court at the showcase, including from behind the arc.
Williams has the potential to be a very good lead guard for Detroit Catholic Central. He can handle, set the table, and was seen burying a three at the Freshman Showcase.
Downs is a disciplined player that can affect a game from the post or the perimeter. He showed his three point range in Grand Rapids.
Thomas had the look of an athletic shooter at the Freshman Showcase. He was able to get his looks off cleanly.
Opsommer could be a force at the 2 guard position. He handled the ball well and also showed that he could bury a shot from behind the arc.
Mercer II has elite level guard skills. His shooting is a big part of that. Mercer II hit multiple triples in a game that I watched.
Price proved to be a multi level scorer. If an opponent played off him to stop the dribble drive, he squared up and buried a 3.
Highlights
I’d seen Zickert before, and knew heading into the event that he could be an elite 3 point shooter. He reaffirmed that belief at the Freshman Showcase.
Whitmore has a ton of upside as a young prospect. He has a really nice looking natural stroke and showed it specifically on a corner triple.
