Cicalo was excellent at the Top 250 on Saturday. You HAVE to ignore height with this young man. He’s very quick and a solid ball handler. Cicalo beats the defense to his spots and gets looks at the rim. He actually pulled down at least 5 rebounds in a half when I saw him play.

Just a freshman, Cicalo has been grabbing some attention since the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase in September. He won’t stay under the radar for long, trust me. He’s a speedy guard that likes to play a high speed game and he does it effectively. Cicalo sees the court well and can keep the defense honest with his ability to bury a triple.

Cicalo uses his off the ball movement to find looks at the rim from beyond the arc. He was excellent off catch and shoot 3’s at the Freshman Showcase.

Teams will have to be very aware of Cicalo in the coming years. He’s a speedy guard that sees the floor well and keeps turnovers to a minimum. Cicalo can play a mistake free game even at a high speed. His jumper is nice as well and he looked very comfortable from behind the arc in the corners.
