Players from California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington attended the camp. I was able to attend the event on Saturday evening and I focused on the CA players on Court 2. Here’s a look at some of the top standouts I saw.
1 Brayden Kyman – Santa Margarita 2026
Kyman is a versatile player with a ton of upside. He has good size for a wing and it allows him to see the floor clearly. He’s a pass first playmaker who has no problem finding the open teammate. Offensively, he can score in the post with a soft touch around the rim, face up and drive, or shoot from three. Comfortable as the primary ball-handler.
2 EJ Spillman – Pacifica Christian 2025
Spillman is a big guard who combines strength and finesse. He has solid handles and a good crossover to get into the lane. Uses his strength to finish through traffic at the basket. He has a little playmaking to his game in the halfcourt finding cutters from the high post.
3 Maximo Adams – Narbonne 2026
Adams is a big wing who can handle the ball and make plays. He can get past his defender and get to the rim and he’s comfortable pulling up and shooting off the dribble. Good finisher who can finish through traffic. Can shoot well from three-point range off the catch. Good rebounder.
4 Dallas Washington – Santa Margarita 2025
Washington was a solid wing with good ball handling ability. He handles the ball on the break and he has some playmaking to his game in the halfcourt finding open shooters after drawing the defense on drives. Runs the floor well and can finish at the basket. Comfortable creating his own shot and does a good job creating separation to get his midrange shot off.
