Stay tuned as a lot of player new and old have been making some impressive strides. Stock rising is on the horizon.
Kai Wesley Kai Wesley 6'8" | PF Orem | 2026 State UT || Orem High School || 2026 ||
Although Kai might be new to the high school scene he has really shown some improvement. Not only that, he has been a very well known player coming into the high school realm in that talented Class of 2026. His hands and footwork have been getting better. That footwork is leading to more blocks and the ability to defend multiple positions. Look out for Kai and that impressive Orem team.
Carlo Mulford Carlo Mulford 6'0" | PG Herriman | 2026 State UT || Herriman High School || 2026 ||
Another young talented and very skilled on the ball PG that is getting a lot of exposure at the varsity level. Carlo has a great array of moves that have counters depending on what he sees on the defensive end. He is a good scoring PG that has a great shooting foundation. Carlo has been doing a great job of creating and getting others going. This Herriman team has a lot of young talent on the team. They should be much improved, especially with Carlo running PG.
Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT || Alta High School || 2024 ||
It did not take long for Ace to get it going and build chemistry going with Alta. Ace has hit the ground running and he has been a welcomed addition to that backcourt and team overall. Ace has been defending and playing at a high level on both ends like he usually is. That gritty on ball shifty style of play has been really helpful for him to create shots for players that can’t create their own looks. The ball in his hands moves but it also makes sense for him to break players off the dribble because he is one of the best in the state at that.
Mekhi Martin Mekhi Martin 6'2" | PG Layton | 2024 State UT || Layton High School || 2024 ||
Mekhi has been taking his game to another level with some improved shooting. He has really expanded his game with that and if he shoots well this season he will leave a lot of space for players on his team that might require more defensive help. His movement when the ball isn’t in his hands has started to reach a high level of consistency. Layton is going to be a very good team in 6A.
Isaac Garrett Isaac Garrett 6'8" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT || Pleasant Grove High School || 2023 ||
Isaac could really be a sleeper D1 kid. The more we watch him the more next level skill we are seeing. He is an unpredictable threat in the pick n’ roll because he could really do many things off of the roll. He could pop or roll slowly and catch the ball on the move. He can slip and rise above the rim and finish. He can turn and duck and work with his back to the basket and he can also turn and face. He is a must watch.
