Continue ReadingBrendan Tousignaut Brendan Tousignaut 6’6″ | SF Sequoyah | 2025 State GA is a long, versatile forward who’s been trending upwards after a really strong summer. On Sunday, Tousignaut did a little bit of everything to help his team get some wins. He rebounds it well and can play both inside and out. His instincts were impressive too, knowing where he’s at on the floor and where his teammates are. The pairing of Brendan Tousignaut Brendan Tousignaut 6’6″ | SF Sequoyah | 2025 State GA and Preston Parker Preston Parker 6’3″ | SG Sequoyah | 2023 State GA will make for an intriguing duo at Sequoyah this year.
Dastin Hart Dastin Hart 6’5″ | PF Cherokee | 2023 State GA is a perfect example of a guy that excels in his role. While Hart may not have the offers or scoring numbers that some of his Wood Elite teammates do, he’ll be a valued recruit for a lot of college programs in the spring because of the intangibles. Throughout the morning, Hart was effective as a screener in the pick & roll and scored it well around the basket. He also showed that he can pass it really well for a big. Hart’s got a solid frame to pair with an improved skillset and should play a key role for Cherokee this year.
Seitan Oke
Seitan Oke
Seitan Oke had a strong couple of games on Sunday, scoring it well from the post and knocking down a few open jumpers from 15 feet. Oke works hard to make himself available in the post and isn’t afraid to keep calling for it if he knows he can exploit a mismatch. He works hard on both ends of the floor and fights for his rebounds. What Oke may lack in size against opposing bigs, he makes up for with his energy and effort. Seitan Oke is just another name on this list that epitomizes the Wood Elite culture.
Brent Williams
Brent Williams
Brent Williams was one of the biggest eye-openers on Sunday and initially caught my attention because of his 6’6 frame as a high school freshman. However, Williams play on the court matched the intirgue, holding his own against some of the camp’s top seniors. He even showed that he can stretch the floor and knock down the open jumper. There’s a ton of upside here with Williams and development will be key along the way. He’s definitely a 2026 to keep an eye on.
Keshawn McPherson Keshawn McPherson 6’5″ | PF Osborne | 2023 State GA ended the summer on a high note with some really impressive outings during the July live periods. I’ve seen few players show as much improvement from last high school season to now as McPherson has so it’ll be interesting to see him take the next step this year at Osborne. He looked like his usual self on Sunday, bullying smaller defenders around the basket and grinding for rebounds. McPherson’s combination of physicality and versatility make him a very intriguing college prospect in my opinion.
