The Platform - Franklin, Tennessee. All games were played at TOA Sports Performance Center. These are the Top Guard Performances from the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="1259395" first="King" last="Keary"] (2025) - NYBA Elite (Tennessee) | Goodpasture

Keary is an athletic, explosive guard with elite finishing ability. He is always in attack mode. Throughout the weekend, Keary had the most success in transition. He seems to always find another gear that the defender cannot contain. Keary will be on the top of a lot of 2025 lists real soon.

Isaac [player_tooltip player_id="1158199" first="Nicot" last="Burnett"] - Indiana Elite Southwest | Mount Vernon-Posey

Burnett is a drive-first guard that uses his strong frame to create space. He made quick, downhill decisions which gave him easier scoring opportunities. He had multiple tough drives finishing in traffic and showed improvement at the free-throw line. Burnett was one of the better scorers from the weekend displaying a range of shots from all over the court.

Malakai Maddox - Arnold Elite (Texas) | Churchill

Maddox gives you a little bit of everything but was most impressive around the paint. He is an athletic guard that found success in playing with the ball in his hands and off the ball. He is a great decision-maker in transition by making passes on time and on target. He raises the play of his teammates and his unselfish approach is contagious.

Kobe Bryant - 901 Ball Stars (Tennessee) | Central

Bryant is a pesky, fighter on defense. He showed active hands that led to multiple deflections that translated to buckets all weekend. Bryant is a confident playmaker and gets his teammates involved often. Not afraid to shoot himself, Bryant is a knockdown scorer from as far out as 25 feet.

Jacob McDermott - Hardwood Elite (Missouri)

McDermott is one of those players that the ball finds him. Coaches love players that have a knack for being in the right place at the right time and McDermott is definitely one of those types. Because he is always around the ball, he seems to always be in rhythm with the flow of the game. He is an athletic wing that uses his constant energy, movement, and activity to set himself up for success.

Dontrez Williams - Hardwood Elite (Missouri)

Williams is a bonafide scorer. Point blank period. Whether the ball is in his hands or he is slashing through the paint, Williams is a true finisher. He showed the ability to stay hot and cook up a scoring run all by himself.
