Lewless has been making a lot of noise this grassroots season. He’s one of the better lead guards in the midwest in my opinion and has as high of an upside as almost any lead guard you anywhere. Lewless has a mature game that’s always steady and solid. I feel like this points to a big time future as a basketball player. D1’s would most certainly tune in to see Lewless show off his game.
Highlights
Weaver is another must see point guard. I think his skills are at times underestimated, as he can match up on any given night with any lead guard around. He can put the ball on the floor and put pressure on his defender and the entire defense as a whole. Weaver is a solid passer that can create lanes, draw the defense, and dish off to shooters and cutters.
Highlights
Coaches and fans should have a focus on Struck if he attends the Top 250. He was excellent at the event last fall, and now, he’s a year stronger and more skilled. His versatility has been, and still is, a real strength. Struck can effectively play either forward spot. He has the ability to step out on the perimeter and score, but is also bouncy under the rim and strong enough to go toe to toe physically with bigs.
Highlights
Yeager will draw fans, coaches, and scouts to his court at the Top 250, guaranteed. Why you ask? Because he’s flat out one of the best pure 3 point shooters in the state of Michigan regardless of class. Yeager needs very little space to get his jumper off and can fire it quickly while staying balanced. He’s a gamechanger on the offensive end, also having the ability to set and run the offense from the point guard position.
Highlights
Ambrose is gaining steam as a prospect and the Top 250 could help him continue that momentum. Ambrose seems to be an almost guaranteed double-double in points and rebounds during high school season. The players that can rebound with him are few and far between and it would be fun to see him battle with other elite post players in the state.
Phifer is a quickly rising prospect that could really electrify his recruitment at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250. He’s an explosive offensive player that can make a lot of plays in the open floor. Phifer has a solid jumper that he can get off in traffic. He’s a plus defender that can get big stops on the perimeter.
Everhart could make a very big statement at the Top 250. He’s a solid shooter that has proven that he’s more than comfortable, and able, to be the go-to scorer. Everhart is efficient with the ball and does a good job recognizing openings in the defense and taking advantage of them. In my opinion, he’ll be a solid next level player.
