Continue ReadingThe live period in Las Vegas gave PH NorCal an opportunity to see some of the younger prospects in the 2025 class that we hadn’t seen much of. They’re still developing their skills set as young prospects, but showed good upside while we were in attendance.
Elliot Conley 6’2 2025 F of WCE 15U UAA NorCal
Conley gives good effort in and around the basket. He uses a strong and growing body to battle for rebounds, on both ends at the 15U level. He did a solid job of defending taller players in the post. He runs hard up the court, will finish strong with transition lay-ups, maybe a dunk. He passes, sets solid screens, and rolls well to the rim. He’ll hit the short corner and paint jumper.
Jayden Minor 6’0 2025 SG of Silicon Valley Soldiers 15U Elite
Minor shows a good all-around skill set. He’s a good passer, looking to move the ball, and make the extra pass up or across court. He’ll fill lanes in transition, and move to open spots along the perimeter for a shot. He’s a confident shooter that looks to put up 3ptrs, when open, on the perimeter, or in rhythm from transition, no forces, he has good shot selection.
Chase Rawlins 6’3 2025 SG of WCE 15U UAA NorCal.
Rawlins a long thin prospect still growing, and shows a developing skill set to play along the perimeter. He’s stronger than he looks and will get in there and battle for rebounds using his length at the 15U level. He has good shooting form and will look to put up a shot if it’s there. He showed he can hit an open 3ptr, or use a dribble or two for a mid-range jumper.
Grantham Milner 6’7 2025 Silicon Valley Soldiers 15 Elite
Standing 6’7 with good length he was a noticeable target on the low block at this level. He did show a bit of rim protection. He made good efforts to go after rebounds for put back points, he had good outlet passes to start the break going the other way. His footwork and strengthening will improve as he becomes more of a player you can play through on the block. He did okay keeping the ball high and turning in for his shot on the low block. His passing was good.
Isaiah Dixon 6’4 2025 W/F of Solano County Trojans.
Dixon shows himself to be a rising prospect at this level who can have some effect on the game with his activity on the court. The lefty can be hard to guard in and around the paint area, as he finishes well on either side, and can use a dribble or two to go by defenders. He has the size to go get rebounds, and good enough handles to get some work done in the open court. He’s on the Wright’s watch List.
