Playing with the Rose City Rebels, Hill finished the EYBL 16U circuit averaging 19.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists – his scoring good for fourth in the entire field. Going into the summer the Roosevelt point guard already held scholarship offers from Portland, Portland State, and San Francisco, and picked up a new one from Montana. When coaches could start calling him directly, his phone predictably lit up and schools like UCLA, Colorado, Loyola-Chicago, Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, and Idaho State all reached out the very first day. He recently made an unofficial visit to Oregon State and the Beavers are recruiting him as well.

Maurer also played on the EYBL but with the Oakland Soldiers, splitting time with the 16U and 17U squads. With 16U he averaged 11.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in April and then he got into a couple of games with the 17U team at the Peach Jam in July. The 6-foot-11 junior is skilled and dangerous with his ability to knock down threes. On the first day he could hear from college coaches, schools like South Carolina, Washington State, Colorado, St.Mary’s, Pepperdine, Idaho State, Eastern Washington, and Portland all called. Portland offered him a scholarship last fall and Sacramento State joined the mix this spring.

Perhaps the highest riser in the Class of 2024 ever since his breakout at the 6A state tournament, Carmichael kept the momentum going into the AAU season. With the California-based Players Play club program, he was able to showcase his skills up and down the West Coast and when coaches could start calling, he heard from Boise State, Colorado, Idaho State, Portland, Portland State, Southern Utah, UC Irvine, Eastern Washington, Princeton, and others. During the summer, in addition to the offer he picked up from Portland at state, he’s added offers from Pepperdine and most recently, UC San Diego.

The junior recently picked up his first scholarship offer from a school with an established pipeline to Wilsonville – OIT.
