Antwan Callahan Jr. (2024, CG, Harbor Impact 10th, Benton Harbor, MI)
Callahan Jr. put his name on the map at the event over the weekend. He showed some explosiveness in a 31 point performance that helped his team advance to the championship game.
Alex Gillum Alex Gillum 6'6" | PF Flat Rock | 2024 State MI (2024, F, Downriver Bad Boyz 2024, Flat Rock, MI)
Gillum came out firing. In his first 2 games he threw out double-doubles. He had 15 points and 10 rebounds, then followed it with 21 points and 13 rebounds.
Quadir Hatchett Quadir Hatchett 6'0" | PG Ottawa Hills | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, B3 Athletics 17u, Wyoming, MI)
Hatchett has been playing lights out basketball this month and we saw that same player this past weekend. Hatchett had a 33 point game against CW Elite.
Kameron Jackson (2025, G, Lindsey Hunter Elite, West Bloomfield, MI)
Jackson was playing up at Brawl For The Ball but you would never know unless told. He put up 2 30 plus point games and averaged 29 points per game over the weekend.
Will Korenstra Will Korenstra 6'1" | SG Grand Haven | 2025 State MI (2025, CG, The House 2025, Grand Haven, MI)
Korenstra demonstrated some flash and playmaking abilities at Brawl For The Ball. On Saturday night, he buried 5 triples on his way to a 23 point game.
Cayden Lepper Cayden Lepper 6'1" | SF Rockford | 2023 State MI (2023, F, Grand Rapids Thunder, Rockford, MI)
Lepper first popped on the radar with a 24 point outburst. He finished the job with a 21 point game and helped the Grand Rapids Thunder win a Silver Bracket Championship.
Warren Marshall IV Warren Marshall IV 6'3" | SF Brother Rice | 2024 State MI (2024, SF, DTO Elite 16u, Brother Rice, MI)
Marshall IV was a game changer last weekend. He had a double-double against United Persuit with 22 points and 11 rebounds. He then dropped 23 points and grabbed 8 boards against UTS. The best part of his performances is that he was probably even better on the defensive end.
Gavin Ort (2025, SF, North Oakland Wolfpack 15u, Waterford Mott, MI)
Ort made his presence felt at Braw For The Ball. The up and coming forward had an impressive 18 point game against Lindsey Hunter Elite.
Conner Slee (2024, SG, Team Focus 2024, Fremont, IN)
Slee proved to be a very dangerous shooter that didn’t need much space to get his shot off. He hit 25 3’s in 6 games over the weekend. Slee averaged 15.3 points per game with a 23 point high.
Keyshawn Summerville (2026, G, Bates Fundamentals 14u Red, Lansing Waverly, MI)
A rising Waverly program has another good one coming in next year. He showed that he could be a top notch shooter at Brawl For The Ball where he hit 6 triples on his way to 32 points.
Jaxson Whitaker Jaxson Whitaker 6'4" | SG Muskegon Reeths-Puffer | 2024 State MI (2024, SG, Grand Rapids Storm 16u UA Rise, Muskegon Reeths-Puffer, MI)
Whitaker did much of what he’s done all summer….Shot the lights out. He buried over 30 triples over the course of the weekend. That wasn’t all though, as he showed that he could handle the ball and dish it off like a lead guard.
Christian Zielinski Christian Zielinski 6'3" | SF Midland Dow | 2023 State MI (2023, CG, REAL 17u, Homeschool, MI)
Zielinski was tough all weekend. I was impressed at the way he’s been expanding his game as a facilitator. He was at his best in a loss to the Wisconsin Playmakers when he scored 22 points and dished out 7 assists.
