6’3 CG JJ Apathjang JJ Apathjang 6'5" | CG Judge Memorial Catholic | 2025 State UT || RSL Academy || 2025 ||
JJ is a player that this Spring has really showcased what he can do on the floor playing 1-3 depending on the situation. When he has the ball in his hands and is running the PG position he is doing a better job finding open players on dump-downs and even those players open as he draws two and kicks. With the ability to find spots on all-three levels JJ does a great job of understanding when to take over or find his teammates. At the high school level he is using his spot up shooting and at the grassroots level he is really attacking the rim. Really like how he is working on his pull-up game and his ability to create.
6’3 CG John Southwick John Southwick 6'3" | SG Utah Prep | 2025 State #234 Nation UT || Dixie High School || 2025 ||
We are finally starting to get a glimpse of John Southwick John Southwick 6'3" | SG Utah Prep | 2025 State #234 Nation UT a highly anticipated prospect when he was heading into his high school season. John has a tough game and he has a high motor. Really like that he can guard 1-3 and will guard 4’s if he is asked to. He is an active guard that plays those lanes and gets steals and really like him on the help-side because he can get up and block shots and rebound as well. On the other side of the ball John shots well on spot ups and he has been really good off the dribble. With his attacking ability taking shape John is going to develop nicely.
6’2 CG Trevor Taylor Trevor Taylor 6'4" | CG Crimson Cliffs | 2025 State UT || Crimson Cliffs High School || 2025 ||
Trevor is going to be a sleeper and if he continues to put in that work he is going to be a problem. When it comes to guards attacking the rim Trevor is one of the best in his age group heading to the rim and he is an athletic player that is building around that.
6’3 CG Ollie Soulier Ollie Soulier 6'3" | CG RSL Academy | 2025 State UT || RSL Academy || 2025 ||
Crafty guard that plays hard. His handle is getting better as is his shooting and ability to get to the rim. Not a finished product at all but you can see some growth in his game.
6’2 CG Jaxon Slaugh Jaxon Slaugh 6'2" | CG Fremont | 2025 State UT || Fremont High School || 2025 ||
Jaxon has been running with UBC this Spring and he has been showing some flashes of his nice basketball game and IQ. He really has a few different gears and he is nice when he gets down hill. Switches direction quickly and he shows his patients in the lane and in traffic. He will hurt you from the outside and he looks great in the pick n’ roll. Great vision as he passes the ball at a high level. He is in a great spot over at Fremont.
