Davan Aniton, 6’6 C 2025 Marshall Warriors 15 U: Aniton showed off his potential as a big down the line with some impressive rim protection and rebounding for Marshall Warriors 15 U. Aniton also knocked down a 3-pointer where he was left alone from the outside. I was impressed with the mobility that Aniton had at his size. Lots of time for development with Aniton and I’m intrigued to continue to follow his development as he progresses as a prospect.
Damon Friery, 6’7 PF Saint Ignatius 2025 – Ohio Rebels 16 U: Playing up a grade, Friery impressed with his athleticism and production playing up a grade for the Ohio Rebels. Friery was battling down low with players older than him and not backing down. Friery also impressed with his outside shooting ability. Lots of upside with Friery who could be a breakout star next season at Saint Ignatius.
Demarris Winters Jr, 6’1 CG Richmond Heights 2025 – Ohio Rebels 16 U: Another prospect who played up, Winters shined next to high school teammate DeErick Barber (who Shane Garcia broke down here) Winters shot the ball at an extremely high percentage from downtown. Mostly working off Barber and Hosea Steele Hosea Steele 6'4" | SF Richmond Heights | 2024 State OH ‘s drive and dishes, Winters was confident on the catch and shoot and was a key reason why the Ohio Rebels were dominant this weekend.
Rj Greer, 6’4 SG Springboro 2025 – Midwest Basketball Club 15 U: Greer was the talk of the town over the weekend, having multiple games with lots of 3-pointers as Greer is establishing himself as one of the elite shooters in the state. Greer plays with a confidence that makes the game look easy to him. Greer recently picked up an offer from Florida and looks like one of the elite prospects in the 2025 class.
Braylyn Irby, 6’3 SG 2025 – Bates Fundamentals 15 U: Irby shined next to Taft star Kieran Granville-Britten (who Shane Garca spotlighted here) for a Bates Fundamentals squad that won the 15 U championship. Irby has a lot of natural talent with the ball in his hands with a smooth handle and athleticism to beat defenders to the basket. Irby knocked down one DEEP 3-pointer that got my attention against Midwest Basketball Club. Irby also threw down an impressive transition dunk and looks the part of a Division I prospect, Irby has already gained an offer from Youngstown State.
