Hosea Steele Hosea Steele 6'4" | SF Richmond Heights | 2024 State OH (2024) – G 6’4 – Cleveland Heights – Ohio Rebels 16U
Steele is a player. The kid has some great length and athleticism. He has great bounce that helps him get multiple blocks and rebounds. He was very aggressive in the game I saw him getting to the rim with ease and did it often. Steele goes a great job of having some very acrobatic finishes and can do it with both hands. Loved his ability to attack the glass for rebounds. He is a flat-out bucket with his ability to hit some very tough shots.
Jonathan Powell Jonathan Powell 6'5" | SG Centerville | 2024 State #164 Nation OH (2024) – G 6’4 – Chaminade Julienne Catholic – Midwest 3SSB 16U
Powell is a player. I absolutely love this kid’s game. He has some very nice athleticism, size, and a nice skill set to complement it. He has very nice length and can go as a scorer. Knows how to put the ball in the rim. Gets to the rim with ease and can shoot it. Had some nice deep threes in the game I saw him play. I also really like his size for a point guard. Very quick and fast as well making him a very good all-around player.
DeErick Barber (2025) – PG 5’10 – Richmond Heights – Ohio Rebels 16U
DeErick Barber won a state championship this past high school year by running the show for Richmond Heights. He is now playing a year up for the Ohio Rebels and the game still seems to be moving slow for him. The kid has a next-level skillset for a point guard. A very long player with excellent vision. As he did for Richmond he showed off his ability to be a great facilitator. Did not score much in the game I saw him play but he ran the show and controlled the game. He is very quick and has the ball on a string. Handles pressure very well. Make passes most high school kids simply can not make.
Brandon Roddy (2025) – PG 6’0 – Harvest Prep – All-Ohio Select 15U
This kid can go! I really loved his pace and shiftiness. He has a plethora of moves that gets the defense off balance and allows him to blow by defenders consistently. Great pace to his game. Carves the defense up and gets to the rim with ease. I really liked the basketball IQ he showed. A highly skilled player and is someone to keep an eye on.
Zy’Aire Weaver Zy’Aire Weaver 5'7" | PG Pickerington Central | 2025 OH (2025) – PG 5’6 – Pickerington Central – Ohio Elite Foundation 15U
Waver is a very nice point guard. He is a great facilitator with next-level vision. He throws players open like a quarterback and delivers it quickly. He throws absolute lasers. He is very quick with a nice handle on the ball. He also is a very nice finisher. Had multiple acrobatic layups that displayed nice touch and creativity around the rim. I also really like this kid’s leadership, showed great talk.
Zack Shawberry (2025) – G 6’1 – Tiffin Columbian – Ohio Buckets Horne 15U
I really like the potential Shawberry has. He is a 6’1 point guard that has great length. I am a big fan of his size and length for a point guard. Handles the ball well. He can also shoot it. He hit a pair of threes. I really liked his high and quick release and hope he starts shooting it more.
Brady Ganley (2025) – G 6’0 – Brecksville – OBC 15U
Ganley is a very nice player. Has very nice length for his size and for a guard. He can also shoot it very well. He showed the ability to be able to put the ball on the ground and to just be a spot-up shooter. I liked the skill he showed.
