A look at the top Wisconsin prospects to watch in the 16U Division at Spiece Run N’ Slam...

[player_tooltip player_id="1089678" first="Tayshawn" last="Bridges"] - 2024 - SG - Power 5

A top three prospect in Wisconsin’s 2024 class and a top 100 prospect nationally, Bridges owns offers from Florida State, Iowa, Maryland, and Auburn. An explosive, uptempo guard, Bridges is one of the top isolation and transition scorers in the country. Bridges is a downhill minded scorer that can get through multiple defenders if needed. If he’s able to mix in his outside jumper, it’s going to be a long day for the opposition.

[player_tooltip player_id="1089684" first="Stevie" last="Clark"] - 2024 - SF - Wisconsin Playground Club

Clark holds an early offer from St. Thomas and appears to be a big priority after the first two live periods. The 6-foot-5 wing has developed into a three-level scorer who can space the floor from 3-point range, take defenders down to the block, and knock down off-balance, fall away mid-range jumpers. One of the better rebounders in Wisconsin’s 2024 class as well, Clark can grab the rock and jump start the fast break and also plays with a high motor/tenacity on the offensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id="1089681" first="Cole" last="Hansen"] - 2024 - SG - Wisconsin Playground Club

Hansen is getting a bunch of Division 1 interest this spring at both the high major and mid-major levels. A crafty and skilled two-guard, Hansen has terrific scoring instincts and can set up his shot in a variety of ways. A dangerous 3-point shooter with extended range, Hansen creates a lot of driving lanes for his teammates by just being on the floor. Hansen knows where his spots are on the floor and he's really fun to watch when he gets into a groove as a shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id="1142142" first="Jaquan" last="Johnson"] - 2024 - PG - Wisconsin Playground Club

Kennesaw State and Grambling have already offered this explosive lead guard. It’s heart over height for Johnson, who can dominate a game at 5-foot-9. He might be undersized, but Johnson’s combination of power and speed on the ball make him a handful to defend. He can get to the rack and finish over bigger defenders with his outstanding body control and toughness. Paired with his in-the-gym range as a pull-up shooter, Johnson makes defenses pick their poison. While his first instincts are to score, Johnson has also a great feel for the game and can pick apart teams who send too many defenders at him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1203602" first="Sekou" last="Konneh"] - 2024 - SF - Power 5

Huge upside on this kid who's just scratching the surface. Konneh is a long, athletic 6-foot-7 wing with a budding offensive skillset. Konneh is a big time athlete that causes a ton of matchup problems. He looked really good as a mid-range scorer during the season, able to slash from the high post or create shots off the bounce. Konneh has a ton of defensive versatility as well, able to guard maybe all five positions right now.

[player_tooltip player_id="1142132" first="Aidan" last="Konop"] - 2024 - PG - MTXE Premier

Love the way Konop approaches the point guard position. He just wants to win and doesn't care how many points he scores. Don't take that to mean he can't fill it up offensively, because Konop took over a lot of games for Sussex Hamilton during his sophomore season. Konop excels as a decision maker in the pick n' roll. He's got a terrific feel for how a defense will react and always seems very connected with the other four teammates on the floor. Also a two-way standout, Konop is someone who can accept the challenge of shutting down the other team's best player.

[player_tooltip player_id="1142118" first="Amari" last="McCottry"] - 2024 - SF - Power 5

A top five player in Wisconsin's 2024 class, McCottry is a handful to stop. A big, physical combo forward, the 6-foot-6 sophomore is just going to come at defenses with a relentless mindset. McCottry is a big matchup problem with size, length, ball handling, and ability to shoot the 3. When this guy starts sizing you up on the perimeter, most defenders don't want any part of it.

[player_tooltip player_id="1182503" first="Connor" last="Roffers"] - 2024 - SG - MTXE Premier

A prospect whose stock is on the rise in the 2024 class right now, Roffers can really shoot the basketball and has good positional size at 6-foot-4. Roffers has a quick release and can hit shots with a hand in his face. Consistent pull-up game from both mid and 3-point range. Like what he can do when the floor is spaced and he's able to just hunt shots on and off the ball.
