Malachi Hayes | 6’6 G | Texas Impact 2024 Anderson
Hayes is a very long and lengthy athlete. He handled it well for his size but I do think he could play some forward too. Would be a huge threat in some pick and pop or ghost actions. He shot it well and finished at a high rate. Big guard with a lot of upside.
Emilio Zundt | 5’7 G | Next Generation Kings Elite 2024
Zundt is the definition of heart over hype. He competes all 32 minutes. He doesn’t back down from anyone on the attack and will adjust his body in air to finish if needed. His three ball was so impressive. He can flat out shoot the ball. Had a smooth behind the back into a step back and swished one from the volleyball line to end the first half.
Iman Jones | 6’4 G | North Florida Hurricanes 2024
Jones displayed what it like to be a floor general for his team. Communicates and talks on both ends of the floor for his squad. Has some great counter attacks with some slick finished. Jones is quick and strong with the ball in his hands.
Dasean Lewis | 5’9 G | Next Generation Kings Elite 2024
Another phenomenal guard from Next Generation 2024’s squad. Lewis and Zundt are some absolute players. He’s quick and shifty. Had a great screen read against the hedge where he push crossed and elevated for a finger roll. High IQ prospect.
Jeremias Heard | 6’9 F | Eng United 2024
Heard is definitely up there for most dominant big that I have watched at Truman this weekend. Footwork is quick and precise, executes the shimmy and drop step so well. He simply puts himself in position to score. He’s a threat from the elbow and short corner as well. He’s very mobile. Fantastic rebounder, strong frame, another big who can outlet that ball deep. Bright future for Jeremias Heard.
Jayden Hames | 6’1 G | Eng United 2024
Hames was an absolute deadeye from beyond the arc. Nearly swished a handful or two of threes. He shoots it so well off the catch and is not afraid to shoot it off the dribble either. Defensively is so fundamentally sound. As a defensive guru watching him sit in a stance all game was great. Vocal player as well.
