Prep Hoops took in a day of action from the Big Shots Carolina Live event in Rock Hill this past weekend. Who were some of the members of the 2024 Palmetto State Class to keep an eye on?

[player_tooltip player_id="1038227" first="RJ" last="Simmons"] - L.C.E. 2024 - Cathedral Academy

Simmons started the day on fire and helped his Charleston based squad get to the Championship Game. RJ started the day off well in a win over Team Loaded West Virginia 2024. He was able to utilize his perimeter game when he wasn't turning the corner and heading to the cup. RJ plays the game at a nice even keel and never looks to push himself into making any unforced errors.

[player_tooltip player_id="1135989" first="Kai" last="Murdock"] - L.C.E. 2024 - Cathedral Academy (pictured on front)

Murdock was great on both sides of the floor on the glass. Kai really does a good job of challenging and altering shots on the defensive end of the floor. Murdock runs the floor like a deer and plays bigger than his height down in the paint. He's really starting to fill out his frame some and make good strides on both ends of the floor. Kai was able to play aggressive all day long and never no showed any hesitation of slowing down.

[player_tooltip player_id="1298513" first="Da'Mori" last="Lytch"] - Big Shots SC Premier - Wilson HS (Florence)

Lytch is a high energy forward who's an extremely quick leaper off the floor. Da'Mori runs down rebounds outside of his area and does most of his damage on putbacks and effort points around the cup. Lytch just like Murdock both can patrol the middle and change a game on the defensive end in a hurry.

[player_tooltip player_id="1045479" first="Jaylin" last="Linder"] - H2 Lowco - Bluffton HS

Linder was wearing a new uniform this spring. Jaylin a small forward was able to connect on some perimeter jumpers when he wasn't looking to stalk the baseline. Jaylin played active in the passing lanes and picked up a few deflections along the way.

[player_tooltip player_id="1088708" first="Caleb" last="Jenkins"] - [program_tooltip program_id='2078724' first='Carolina' last='Pressure'] 2024 - Sumter HS

Jenkins might be a small guard, but he sure doesn't back away from competition. Caleb was able to pull off a few mid-range jumpers today when he wasn't ball hawking on the defensive end. Caleb brings a lot of fight and grit to the party every time he's on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1149795" first="Ty'ree" last="Edwards"] - [program_tooltip program_id='2078749' first='TMP' last=''] 16U - Woodland HS

Edwards was one of the bright spots today for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078749' first='TMP' last=''] program. Ty'ree a point guard was able to get the offense into his sets today while directing the team from out top. Edwards NEVER looked to take a play-off while on the floor.
