11) Mason Williams Mason Williams 6'4" | PG O'Dea | 2023 State WA – 6’4″ O’Dea High School
Mason is one of the top facilitators in the state, easily. He can distribute the ball to his teammates with ease, always hitting them when they are open. He can also knock down the long range shot just as well as anyone in the state. He has consistently hit his jumpers every game for O’Dea. Williams is extremely dangerous in transition. When he has the ball he’s very shifty with his dribbles, sneaking by defenders to finish at the rim. Despite his skinny frame, Mason finishes at the rim through traffic effectively.
12) Maverick Sanders Maverick Sanders 6'5" | SF Mt Spokane | 2023 State WA – 6’5″ Mt. Spokane High School
Maverick has amazing ability finishing at the rim, he uses his body very well in traffic. His ability to drive by defenders stands out in his film, he can always find a way to sneak by and either hit the mid-range shot or attack the rim. Offensively he can also knockdown the long range shot with ease. His jumper was consistent all season long, and that won’t change for next year. On the defensive sides on things, Maverick goes all out. He always leaves everything out on the court by diving for lose balls and attacking the boards for rebounds.
13) Kelson Gebbers Kelson Gebbers 6'6" | SF Brewster | 2023 State WA – 6’7″ Brewster High School
Kelson’s 6’7″ frame provides him very good length on both sides of the ball. He is one of the best shooters in the 2023 class, and the class is stacked with shooters. He has yet to disappoint anyone, as eyes have been on him since his freshman year, due to his size. Gebbers sneaky good athleticism is what stands out on film, he can grab almost every rebound over his defenders. He scores from all three levels, using his big frame to outsize his defenders. Defensively he is very physical, being able to guard any position on the court. Brewster is set for another solid year with Gebbers leading the way.
14) Amare Jackson Amare Jackson 6'5" | SF O'Dea | 2023 State WA -6’5″ Highline High School
Amare is one of the best scorers in the state, by far. His ability to put the ball in the basket, from anywhere, is extremely impressive and fun to watch. The 2A KingCo Player of the Year averaged 35 points a game, along with 10 rebounds a game. In February of this past season, Amare scored a Highline HS record 51 points in a game over Evergreen. The junior is primed for a big grassroots season, being on Team Stuck. He’s also set up for another big season next year with Highline, I wouldn’t be surprised in Jackson entered our top 10 by mid next season.
15) Luke Browne Luke Browne 6'6" | SG Gig Harbor | 2023 State WA -6’6″ Gig Harbor High School
Luke has a very smooth lefty shot. He has phenomenal ability to shoot off screens, anywhere from deep. Luke’s high basketbll IQ is very apparent when watching him play, as he doesn’t take many bad shots. He rarely makes mistakes, and is always setting his teammates up for success. Luke has one of the most complete offensive games in the class. Being able to drive by defenders, hit the mid-range shot, or even sink a floater over the defenders. Gig Harbor had a solid season, making it to state. They are looking to take another step with Browne at the helm, he could also easily sneak into our top 10.
