He didn’t score as much as he usually does but he still affects the game in a variety of ways. He had a couple of monster blocks, and he was a force in the paint rebounding as well. He will give you everything he has in every game and continue to be one of the best big men in the state. He is a great athlete who can really get up and down the floor and make plays on both ends.

Sanders brings a different style of game to this team as a more defensively minded player who has really grown his game on the offensive end. He’s tough, strong, and has good instincts, and his ability to lead his team through his play will be huge in determining what kind of season they have.

Sanders is one of the most potent defenders across the state with good athleticism, great timing, and a top-notch motor. He can lineup against guards or posts and makes impact plays on the defensive side of the ball. He went on a tear at the end of last season, culminating in a fifth-place finish at State and a first-round victory over eventual champs, Auburn. Mt. Spokane returns a deep squad led by this man here and should contend for a shot at the 3A Title in 2022-23.

No. 3 | Sanders is a different breed on the court. He’s not going to kill you from outside but he is so good going to the rim and attacking the glass that at times his lack of an outside shot does not matter. He’s a spectacular athlete that can shut down the other team’s best player and is a terrific help side defender. He’s got a good enough shot from the mid-range to keep defenders up close and set them up for some strong moves to the hoop.

The epitome of toughness. He does the dirty work and also happens to be one of the most talented forwards in the state. When you watch him play, you can see that competitive side of his game. He is a tough rebounding, get after it type player who combines his talents with toughness. He is all over the floor and willing to be that player who leads by example. If there is a loose ball, my money is on him to be the first to the floor. The combination of talent and toughness makes him a nightmare matchup. He won’t back down and he flies to the action. A willingness to do the little things. He would run through that wall to help his team.
