Which prospects could breakout over the next several months? Some of these selections are from players I saw over the high school season. You can view part one by clicking here.
Once again, a lot of underclassmen in this piece. The future is very bright here in the region!
Jaylen Joseph – Mater Academy Charter
Mater Academy Charter has one of the better younger rosters in South Florida. One of those players is 2026 Jaylen Joseph. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 11.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game. In addition, Joseph hit 18-pointers. Overall, he scored in double-figures in 13 games. Joseph should continue to work on his shooting efficiency moving into the spring.
Ray-Ray Collum – Jupiter
2025 Ray-Ray Collum is a rising point guard up in Palm Beach County. The 5-foot-6 Collum plays with great court awareness, especially on defense. His ability to read the court created turnovers for the Warriors. Collum had a four steal game against Santaluces. He should be more of a offensive weapon in the future. Worth noting, Jupiter loses Alex Houck Alex Houck 6'3" | CG Jupiter | 2022 State FL and Conner Weston Conner Weston 6'7" | SF Jupiter | 2022 State FL to graduation.
Brooklyn Vick – St. Andrew’s
Another talented guard prospect in the Palm Beach area is Brooklyn Vick. The 5-foot-11 point guard averaged 14 points, 3.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game while shooting 41 percent from the field. Moreover, Vick went 19-of-62 (32 percent) from deep. Vick is a solid scorer downhill and should only get stronger. He scored a season-high 29 points on 7-of-15 from the field against King’s Academy. On defense, Vick recorded 50 steals.
Tao Schreiber – Plantation American Heritage
2025 Tao Schreiber is a big guard that led Plantation American Heritage in points this season. The 6-foot-3 Schreiber averaged 14.1 points per game for head coach Raja Bell. Schreiber scored in double-figures in 16 of 17 recorded games. He scored a season-high 20 points against Hialeah Gardens and added 18 against Gulliver Prep. Worth noting, a majority of American Heritage’s roster were seniors this season.
