With 228 players, there are bound to be players that saw their rankings drop, but also players that saw their stock rise.

33 new players were discovered for the senior class.

The old saying, “It is not where you start, but it is where you finish”, definitely applies to many of these players.

Here are 12 stock risers after the HS season:

[player_tooltip player_id="1120836" first="Khayree" last="Rashad"] Maricopa +97

Truth be told, I barely remember him when I first saw him, but now he is someone college coaches should know. He has good strength and he is a natural rebounder. He loves the contact and has an aggressive approach on the glass. He can score it efficiently around the basket with either hand and comes with a motor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1015263" first="Talbot" last="Cummard"] Mesa +71

An all-around guard grew on me every time I watched him play. He does basically everything well, maybe not elite at one thing but defends, makes plays for others and can score with jumpers and getting to basket. What really stands out is how hard he plays.

[player_tooltip player_id="1123139" first="Rob" last="Jenkins"] Cactus +51

A physical combo guard is a streaky 3pt shooter, but improved almost 10% from the arc. He is a superior decision maker and passer then I realized and will defend the 1-3 with strength and length.

[player_tooltip player_id="973583" first="Evan" last="Clayton"] Arcadia +47

A talented three level scorer for the Titans all year. He has some pop with his athleticism and can shoot it from deep plus score it in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1030972" first="Nick" last="Tolson"] Chaparral +46

He missed a year with injury and looked like his old self. He can shoot it comfortably from mid to the 3pt line with a pretty stroke. He rebounds well in his area and will defend from inside and out.

[player_tooltip player_id="706700" first="Anthony" last="Jaramillo"] Mountain Pointe +35

Another player who was injured and came back strong. He has range on his jumper and has a burst to touch the paint. He can make some plays but has more of a knack for scoring the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="1121053" first="Dwayne" last="Porter"] Valley Vista +34

A super athletic star transition forward just got better over the years. He plays way above the rim and will defend multiple positions. He is best getting downhill but can shoot it from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id="827049" first="Pascal" last="Volz"] McClintock +33

A skilled guard can seemingly do it all. He is a three level scorer and can create his own offense with some bounce and shoot it easily from mid to the 3pt line off the catch or pull. His strength and athleticism have made huge strides to match his skill.

[player_tooltip player_id="827040" first="Luke" last="Arington"] Shadow Ridge +33

A sniper gets hot in a blink of an eye. The prep hoops staff viewed him and thought Luke was one of the best shooters he saw all year. He squares up quickly and lets it fly with good form.

[player_tooltip player_id="1033046" first="Deveraux" last="Roberts"] Higley +32

A good year for their team and for him. He played well off of YaYa Greer catching and shooting with range. He moves without the ball and can use the floater once he enters the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1033047" first="Eli" last="Fleming"] Dysart +30

Another stud shooter on the stock up list! He squares up like you should and fires away. He can also make some plays plus drive to the basket and score it.

[player_tooltip player_id="973567" first="Daylyn" last="Martin"] Desert Vista +27

Martin had a good year for the Thunder. He turned into a fast play maker as the year went on. He can still put the ball in the basket, but he figured out the happy medium of scorer to facilitator more and more as he got older.
