<h5>The high school season has brought out some impressive names in the 2024 class. Here's a look at Part II of sophomores on a tear.</h5>

<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1131546" first="Rakease" last="Passmore"] | 6’6 Guard/Wing | AC Reynolds</h5>
<p>Passmore was productive once again in Year 2 for AC Reynolds as he continues to improve his stock in the class. He averaged 17.8 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.8 apg and 1.2 spg on 55 percent shooting from the field as they’ve won seven-straight games heading into the playoffs. He’s due for a busy summer on the recruiting trail.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1008900" first="Jahseem" last="Felton"] | 6’5 Wing/Guard | Gaston Christian</h5>
<p>Felton was a consistent producer in the Gaston Christian rotation this season. He’s put up 16.4 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 2.3 apg and 1.0 spg on 49 percent shooting from the field and 32 percent shooting from 3-point range in his first season with the Eagles. He’s got good potential in the class.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1326000" first="Kany" last="Tchanda"] | 6’9 Forward/Wing | Concord Academy</h5>
<p>Tchanda has been an emerging name at Concord Academy with his ability to rebound, score off the bounce and alter shots defensively. He’s produced 14.4 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 1.6 bpg as a stock riser in the 2024 class. Look for his name to grow as he expands his game on the perimeter.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1076359" first="Tyler" last="Whitehurst"] | 5’10 Guard | Riverside-Martin</h5>
<p>Whitehurst is a scoring guard that’s been quite effective in the backcourt. He’s put together 17.7 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2.1 apg and 1.3 spg in his sophomore season for Riverside-Martin as they’ve won four in a row and counting at the lead guard role. He’s an up-and-coming guard to keep eyes on in NC’s 2024 class.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="854881" first="Zeke" last="Brock"] | 5’10 Point Guard | Cape Fear Christian Academy</h5>
<p>Brock is beginning to separate himself at the point guard role over at Cape Fear Christian Academy. He’s dished out 9.6 apg to go along with 16.9 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 2.5 spg in his sophomore campaign as he’s put together six double-doubles in his move to the point guard spot while maintaining his ability to shoot at range.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1342450" first="Jaheim" last="Faison"] | 6’2 Guard | New Life Christian Academy</h5>
<p>Faison is a combo guard with the ability to finish around the rim and rebound on both ends. He’s averaged 15.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1.5 spg and 1.3 apg as they approach the postseason portion of the schedule. He’s done well to raise his profile in NC’s 2024 class.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1382675" first="Jaylen" last="Wilkerson"] | 5’11 Guard | Walkertown</h5>
<p>Wilkerson has been an emerging name to know at Walkertown High at the guard spot. He’s had a solid 2021-22 season with 14.8 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.6 apg and 1.2 spg in his second year on varsity. Look for his stock to continue to grow in the class.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1382677" first="Pierce" last="Pettit"] | 6’0 Shooting Guard | South Granville</h5>
<p>Pettit is one of the top shooters in the state to know over at South Granville. He’s knocked down 56 3-pointers for the Vikings this season while putting up 13.9 ppg and 4.7 rpg while shooting 35 percent from 3-point land. He’ll be one of a few names to track in their rotation. </p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1382676" first="Ke’Vontae" last="Lucas"] | 6’4 Wing/Forward | Washington County</h5>
<p>Lucas is an athletic name to know at Washington County High that’s put together a solid year. He’s poured in 15.3 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 3.2 apg, 2.2 spg and 1.6 bpg as a presence on the glass, boards and getting to the rim while shooting 64 percent from the field. He’s a big reason they’re unbeaten in conference action at 11-0 his season.</p>
