Brock is a big reason Cape Fear Christian Academy is 4-2 in Mid-Carolina Conference action given his ability to knock down shots with range and make things happen in the backcourt. He’s shown he can score and distribute with 25.8 PPG, 5.1 APG, 3.5 RPG and 2.8 SPG. He isn’t the biggest guard but he makes up for it with his confidence when creating opportunities. He’s shown he can be a presence on both ends of the floor with his speed and quickness. DII and DIII programs in the region would be wise to get eyes on him.

His team will look to him to lead the way once again in just about every statistical category and we saw flashes of that on Saturday. He knocked down shots from beyond college three-point range, blew by defenders for buckets and also made some nice reads/passes to teammates for buckets.

made my top performers list for our first week, and his roll hasn’t slowed since then. He is a very volume guy, but scores at over 50% on his field goal attempts. The offense runs through him, and his ability to use his shiftiness to both score and playmake really well. His numbers at the charity stripe are good too, shooting 84%. And for someone who scores so much, 6 assists per game is nothing to turn your nose up at. His ability will shine through the year, and playing AAU in the summer against top competition will be important to evaluate his ability against high level size and physicality.

has been on fire like someone dumped gasoline on him this week. CFCA opened the season hosting a two game tournament, and he opened with a 47 point, 7 assist outburst against South Wake Homeschool, including the game winning free throws on a late foul call. The Eagles came up short to Fayetteville Christian the next day, but Brock still poured in 32 points. He is a pure scorer, from all three levels on the floor despite his size. He has knocked down threes, gotten to his spots from the mid-range, and been efficient in his opportunities from the stripe. Keep watching him this year for some gaudy box scores and more examples why he is a lights out bucket getter.

Out of all the players listed, he had the best statistical season last season, but we truly feel that the extra year of experience will help him to be able to lead his team to more wins over quality opponents which should only help his recruitment. He has outstanding shooting range as well as impressive court vision which could be seen with his 17 Points & 10 Assist per game stats last year.
