Aidan Fowler, 2024, JSerra – Fowler is the consummate floor general for the Lions and helped keep JSerra close in a Nike Gold Division quarterfinal loss to San Joaquin Memorial. The 5-foot-11 point guard is as tough and smart as they come at the position. He pushes the pace and makes good decisions in transition, but also orchestrates the half-court offense with efficiency. Fowler can knock down the open catch and shoot three-pointer and, despite being a sub-six-footer, can get into the paint and finish around the basket.
Andrew Meadow, 2023, West Ranch – Meadow is a jack-of-all-trades type of guy whose offensive and defensive versatility are extremely valuable at the high school level. The 6-foot-7 wing/forward is a beast on the offensive and defensive glass. His combination of size and athleticism, to go along with his high motor, helps him beat bigger interior players to boards. Meadow’s offensive game is expanding, as well. He can slash and finish with the best of them, but is also stretching his perimeter game out to the three-point line and hitting with consistency.
Isaiah Chappell Isaiah Chappell 6'9" | PF South Kent | 2023 State #278 Nation CA-S , 2023, Crossroads – Chappell continued his breakout junior season with an impressive performance in a Nike Gold Division consolation win over Desert Pines. The 6-foot-8 stretch four/five man is as skilled as they come both inside and out. Chappell can hit the pick and pop or drive and replace three-point shot, but also has back to the basket and interior touch going to either shoulder and with either hand.
Jaqari Miles, 2023, West Ranch – A lot of social media personalities and pages like to use the term “bucket” in describing scorers these days and that term fits perfectly with Miles’ game. The 6-foot-2 guard scores in every way imaginable, from transition layups and pull-up jumpers to half-court blow-by’s, mid-range jumpers and deep three-point shots, Miles is a microwave type of scorer who can heat up in a hurry.
Joseph Hunter Joseph Hunter 6'3" | PG San Joaquin Memorial | 2022 #80 Nation CA-S , 2022, San Joaquin Memorial – Hunter has emerged as a quiet superstar among the state’s top prospects. The 6-foot-5 guard/wing has much more substance than flash to his game and has really improved upon his ball skills, basketball IQ, passing acumen and jump shot since we last saw him. Hunter made high level decisions and timely shots in a Nike Gold Division quarterfinal win over JSerra. Fresno State is getting a super versatile wing who impacts the game on both ends of the floor.
Jurian Dixon Jurian Dixon 6'4" | SG St. Augustine | 2023 State #247 Nation CA-S , 2023, St. Augustine – Dixon has always had a ton of promise and upside and he’s starting to add elite productivity to his obvious measureables and athletic gifts. The 6-foot-5 wing is still a big time slasher and finisher in transition, but it was his improved catch-and-shoot three-point shot that caught our eye in the Saints Platinum Division consolation win over Sheldon. Dixon finished with 31 points, many of those coming off of a smooth lookin perimeter jumper.
